Apparently the reason that lad threw the toddler off the 10th floor of the Tate modern was because he heard we were signing David Luis and not selling Iwobi for £30m

You're a sick puppy mate.

Sun reporting we have agreed terms with Rugani. I don't know much about Rugani but I do know that Juve do defenders so even one who isn't a start for them is probably going to be a serious upgrade on what we have now.

And on another page the Sun are saying that Rugani is off. Both reports this afternoon

Don't know much about Rugani but have seen on social media him being described as the Italian Mustafi

Chelsea confirm Luiz did not train today and say Frank Lampard will provide an update on Friday. @MirrorFootball

Bit worried that we are looking at players based on their agent.. Luiz and Coutino both use Kia whatever his stupid name is.

Why are we shopping for 32yr old's on lastminute.com again?, it's just like a Wenger trolley dash, have we lost 8-2 again?.

Why does it seem like the window is shutting very early this year? We wont be able to trolley dash after our first few bad results if required :rubchin:

According to the Standard, Chelsea have denied reports that Luiz refused to train, but Standard Sport understands that the Brazilian hopes to quit Stamford Bridge over fears about his playing time under new boss Frank Lampard. https://t.co/uW4S3Vb4tL
yeah, he's worried he'll have to play every week

I've never liked him. too much of a ball player for a CB.

Thanks for the correction - so we can take free agents from overseas, sell overseas, and buy from the EFL but not the Championship.

it does not say when the deadline for loans is, domestically and from all of the above. :banghead:

Iwobi btw is considered 'homegrown' , so he might be kept to keep our required eight homegrown players in the 25 man squad.
Clubs in the league are required to name a squad of 25-players by 5pm on the day after the close of each transfer window. So by 5pm on Friday, August 9, clubs in England's top tier will have submitted their chosen squads.

Within that 25, eight must be homegrown, and clubs are only permitted to select a maximum of 17 foreign players, but there are no limits on the number of under-21 players which can be used clubs throughout the season.

Jenks and hopefully Iwobi departing from the 8 home grown list.

Surely with the likely promotion of a few of the kids this will all balance itself out or is there more to it than that :?

A move for Chelsea's David Luiz is among the deals Arsenal are working on as they bid to sign a centre-back.

Here's the latest from @bbcsport_david: https://t.co/PTi2PTqZls https://t.co/guOJPOI2mv

Emery: "We are finding the possibility to add another centre-back, but only if he can help us in our performance. We're working on that. We are working in the last minute, we are also taking the possibility that we can add some more players who can help us with good performance"

Arsenal working hard to complete deal to sign Kieran Tierney before tomorrow's deadline. Celtic refusing to budge on valuation. Want close to £25m up front. Personal terms not expected to be a problem
