At last....that explains it ......the real reason Wenger has not come back into management.......

What family is that then? His parents both died before he left Arsenal, his wife left him long before he left Arsenal and his daughter is probably grown up but still young, rich and healthy ... so who's he talking about? Admittedly he could have other family and maybe I'm being out of order but it sounds like another dose of bullshit to me!
It's easy not to elaborate when talking about certain things (like which massive clubs wanted you as manager ). It makes it look like you are being classy and discreet ... but it also means these claims cannot be proved or disproved.

Real Madrid were desperately trying to tempt him with an 8 year contract on a guaranteed 12 million a year and Bayern Munich countered with 15 million a year, but only a 5 year deal, albeit including a lovely place called the Berghof in Berchtesgaden, in the Bavarian Alps
Juventus dropped out, because their 10 million a year, 4 year deal, plus a 6 million signing on fee, just didn't cut it.
