At this rate, that jobsworth in Manchester looks like he's doing a good job and they lost to Astana a few hours ago. All their board have to do is get their wallet out and see down at us and feel better.
Stubborn manager, from one to the other. The board can all go fuck themselves, bunch of prostitutes for the American cūnt in charge. I didn't want to turn to Edu but he is in that position because, he too, is a 'yes sir' to the aforementioned.
Not even Wenger made me contemplate my fucking ST, that's how bad it is.

How poor does a team need to be NOT to qualify from the group stage of this tin-pot competition?

The slow, slow painfully, heart breaking disintegration of our beloved Arsenal FC .

Sums up pretty well. We had first 'dibs' at watching Abramovich and his takeover and could've adapted with Chelsea but instead we wanted to be the 1990s Arsenal and look where it lands us. The team's name is a history, what is inside is pure shit - in the meantime a good amount of clubs have adjusted and with a small rough patch are/will now thriving/thrive.Bob Bayliss wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 9:52 pmThe beginning of the end was as long ago as 2003, funnily enough, while we were still at Highbury and in our invincibles pomp.
The day Abramovich took over at Chelsea the whole landscape was bound to change. Instead of preparing the club to adapt, David Dein whinged "Abramovich has parked his tanks on our lawn… and he’s firing 50 pound notes at us.” . What was once the club's greatest asset - its stability and conservatism - became a liability. We have never adapted, and now I fear it is too late. The game has passed us by.

Sid, you cannot seriously relieve them of any blame? Wenger instilled the carefree, blameless, cosseted attitude of the players which still poisons the club and him and the board agreed on the new level of players coming in. They failed massively in all areas. It is now just carrying on and on and on. And yes, Emery is shit!
Re: Frankfurt H Thu 28 Nov 8pm
exactly hes not bothered, i feel fucking sick watching it....hell of a job for anyone coming in as manager, anyone established will give it a wide berth...one to avoidLeftfootlegendGooner wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 9:59 pmDid you see xhaka joking with the opposition players after the final whistle, what a CUNNT.Rian1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 9:52 pmWorst board in the history of football... remember to sack UE after our crucial December fixtures when we will be fighting with Watford on who goes down. Don't take any actions now, why would you, let's wait until City, WH, Everton, Chelsea and United shits all over us.
Well done on bringing that piece of shit Xhaka in the team too, look how's he paying you off - better be worth it when you are managing Leganes next season in the La Liga 2.
This club is going down very quickly.

Great point Leyton. This is the direction a lot of us knew we were heading in it we were constantly dismissed with bullshit like ‘’Wenger deserves to continue as long as he chooses’’ and ‘’you can’t criticise Wenger after all he’s done for the club’’.Leyton Gooner wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 9:58 pmEmery has to go but where was all this pressure from the media and *word censored* like Keown who constantly failed to call out the previous *word censored* for his failures
Emery is definitely being held to a different standard.

Arsenal without Leno would have a great chance.Bob Bayliss wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:02 pmHow poor does a team need to be NOT to qualify from the group stage of this tin-pot competition?

FFS, most of this team are Emerys signings!goonertux wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:06 pmSid, you cannot seriously relieve them of any blame? To be fair, his signings aren't the problem, bar Sokratis everyone he signed are good. Even Sokratis before this season was a rock, now even my Sunday League captain can get past him, he's 31. Leno, Mateo, Torreira, Pepe and Martinelli have all been good and have potential.goonersid wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:11 pmFFS, most of this team are Emerys signings!goonertux wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:06 pmSid, you cannot seriously relieve them of any blame? It goes back to when the board started selling their shares to Kroenke - You know after chips the old rogue said 'We don't want his sort at our club' - Before the share prices increased that is....goonertux wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:06 pmSid, you cannot seriously relieve them of any blame? But wenger, gazidis and kroenke are the root of what we are now enduring...Emery is just another mistake amongst many...
Until the Changes are HUGE from root to twig with kroenke out we are fuckked.

Have to agree with this, you can blame Wenger for the players who he bought and are still here but since Emery took over we've bought 12 players, half of those have have had 18 months under Emery, if Emery were decent he'd have been at least able to begin to undo what Wenger has done to the squad.goonersid wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:11 pmFFS, most of this team are Emerys signings!goonertux wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:06 pmSid, you cannot seriously relieve them of any blame? You can blame Wenger, Stan and the Lizard King for what has happened to the club as a whole but what is happening on the pitch is down to Emery and his coaching staff not being able to turn things around and they've had plenty of time to at least start rebuilding, i actually feel things are worse now on the pitch than they were under OGL in his last season.
