Got his team selection inexplicably wrong, especially since it’s not to say, he hasn’t been involved, so didn’t know where the problems lay!
Things improved with Torreira and Martinelli introduction, so what we need to see now, is whether or not he learns from his mistakes!
If not then he can fuck off to West Ham and slag the club off in the press like he did previously!

Team selection was odd. I don’t blame him at all for us not being able to defend and being spineless, but we all know that Mustafi, Xhaka and Kolasinac are particularly dreadful so why start them?
Substitutions were also poor too - waited far too long until nearly last ten minutes left to make an attacking change. Aubameyang ended up getting shifted out to the right wing where, as always, he does nothing and nobody was out on the left.

I think you got your answer today he picked Mustafi and Xhakaclockender1 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 9:02 amReading between the lines, it seems as if Freddie inherits a divided dressing room - the lazy malcontents vs the hardworkers.
It will be interesting to see how he deals with that. I hope that he doesn't suffer fools gladly.

Yea Freddy out ,he's been in charge since Friday and he still hasn't sorted things out ,hes had enough time ffs !
After all what's he ever done for us ! Let's give fat Sam the job for 3 days and if we havent won the league by Thursday sack him.

This appointment really is as cynical as it gets. However badly the team may be doing, even if we continue to hover around 7th or 8th place, there is a much-loved invincible at the helm. so some of the missing thousands will come back just so that they can sing their Freddie song and imagine it's 2004 again.
Re: G'day Freddie. Manager of The Arsenal
Critcising Freddie today for being the wrong man is not his fault . Blame the board for not doing due dilligence and having a new man lined up at the start of the season.
If they wanted a few weeks to let Emery hang himself , they should have had their new man in the wings waiting .
Yesterday he got a look at who could play for him and who can't . Wait until Thursday and see who plays there. If he wants to bring in a different defence he has to use what he has , Both Tierney and Bellerin apparently have hamstring problems , so would it be right to blow them straight out for the next six weeks ? and dropping Luiz & Mustaphi for Sokratis or Holding or move Chambers to the middle and find someone for right back .
Give him time , Christ he needs it .
We have been declining for 10 years what do you expect in 48 hours ?

Re: G'day Freddie. Manager of The Arsenal
There is no defending that line-up yesterday. Freddie may only have had 48 hours as manager but he's been working at the club for ages and he has watched every game this season from the dugout. Like everyone else, he how seen how abysmal some of those players he picked are. And surprise surprise they were abysmal again yesterday.
Picking that side was an insult to all of us and especially the fans that made the trip to Norwich. Fucking disgraceful line up and the team deserved to lose that game.
No excuses for Freddie. None.

Re: G'day Freddie. Manager of The Arsenal
this is crazy.
Solskjaer when appointed Man United manager had at least had managerial experience at Caerdiff.
Lampard had proven himself at Derby.
I was hardly convinced by Freddie yesterday.
Yet again this club are trying to penny pinch. We do not act like a big club, yet somehow we try to make out that we are one.

For Christ's sake stop all the kneejerking. Freddie is in place to hold the fort. Can't believe how many think he can turn us into the Invincibles after 48 hours. I for one didn't expect much more than we got yesterday. One plus was we seemed to play at a higher tempo.

Re: G'day Freddie. Manager of The Arsenal
eh? Not sure anyone is thinking that mate. Nobody as far as I can see is expecting any quick fix from Freddie. But the team he picked yesterday would have lost us the game if it wasn’t for Leno. I think it is unfair to call it knee-jerking if we complain about that line up because we've seen, over a long period of time, how much of a liability a lot of those players are when they play.clummo123 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 12:08 pmFor Christ's sake stop all the kneejerking. Totally agree with you about the higher tempo thing though, even though it was only noticeable in the 1st half. We are a much better side when we play faster and it is a lot better to watch so I hope that is one thing Freddie will ensure we do more of.
