Bournemouth A 26th Dec

half an hour gone against a VERY poor Bournemouth side and we've hardly had an effort on goal
That's a very distorted interpretation, we have been nearly as shit as Bournemouth recently and are in general bossing this match even if we haven't scored. Yes we should be at least one or two up but we are definitely playing a lot better than we have in recent months
But still fucking suicidal at the back, creating chances dont mean shit when you aint taking them and conceding silly goals every week.

Is it me or are we passing the ball better & finding space more easily?
No, you're right we are which is strange as it is a small pitch at the Cherries ground....

Reiss Nelson is testing my patience and is actually edging towards taking my 'Worst of the Youngsters' trophy away from Willock
Emery did at least realise this and barely played him this season

I just don't get the PEA out wide, Laca in the middle. It totally negates PEA's game and Laca is not playing well this season at all. Much better to have Pepe out wide and PEA where he does damage.

Ozil and Xhaka always look ok in these situations. Ramsey was the same, an opposition set up where you can drive a truck and trailer through the midfield, nobody challenging, plenty of time to dawdle on the ball and pick your passes........ Play against top teams that press hard, challenge for every 50/50 ball and shut you down quickly and they both vanish....I'll reserve judgement for the Chelsea game....Bournemouth are really poor. AND crippled by injuries.

Aubameyang trying to do a fancy flick to lose possession before that goal

It was more Torreiras fault, didn't really want to get to the ball first and let his man in.

Reiss Nelson should go off at HT.

So if we win these games, the new manager has made a difference. If we carry on fliopping, he can't be expected to turn things around this soon.
