KROENKE OUT / The Board / Staff etc (merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

KSE, however, revealed in August through an interview with director Josh Kroenke that they were committed to Arsenal and guiding them back to the top of the Premier League.

Comedy gold right there. :censored:

Dangote might be wise to leave it a few more years though, by the time KSE have been in full control for a while we'll probably be a lot cheaper to buy floating around midtable for years on end..

Buy us in 2023. Its a lot cheaper to buy a Championship club than a Premier League one. There are only about 3 or 4 teams left in the PL with lower ambitions than our owner, and a whole stack of ambitious Championship clubs queuing up to replace them. If I'd have said on here 2-3 years ago that we'd be finishing below Sheffield United and Wolves, and knocking about mid table with the likes of Palace, people would have scoffed (in fact many did and said we would never slip below top six).

The decline under this owner is terminal. If West Ham, Everton, Leeds, Newcastle (under a new owner which will happen eventually) amongst others get their shit together properly, we will sink to the next level down.

All good points and all possible too. But for me the fact we probably will get in or around that top 6 by May despite the mess we are in and have been in for years is indicative of how poor the PL has become. Depending if Arteta can instil something in our snowflake players we could finish anywhere from 12th to 5th tbh.

The problem is if we finish say 8th then the bald bewigged bastard sacks Arteta and many of our fans that can't see beyond the end of their noses will be satisfied that "the owner has done his job" whereas the real problem at this club (and has been since the day he took over) is the owner.

On a serious level though, some people used to reprimand me (and others) for focusing our ire at wenker over the years, and not direct any of it at Kroenke - it wasn't/isn't that I was oblivious to the slow death that kse was inflicting on us, but more down to the fact that I honestly don't know what we can do here. This guy has 100% control of our club and we cannot force him out, so imo all we can do is play the long game and hope that a continual slide into obscurity will force him to sell for financial reasons. There are times and actions that will stand out and be remembered for years afterwards, and redaction and their public opposition to Usmanov will prove to be a huge influence on where we now stand, and I for one think that they should always be reminded of it. There outright brainless stupid opposition helped freeze usmanov out and allowed Kroenke a clean run at taking control of our club. Shareholders were warned not to sell to usmanov and consequently all he could do was sit patiently and hope that kse would eventually sell - as soon as it became clear to him that would NEVER happen, he sold up and is now about to put his considerable investment into building everton up to stand alongside the nouveau rich

If someone has a plan to accelerate wiggy's departure then lets hear it cos I want him out as much as the rest of ye. Sadly I feel that an outright boycott of home games is the only way to drive him out, and that will also never happen

Big news from #EFC AGM - multi-billionaire Alisher Usmanov - one of the richest people in the world - has significantly stepped up his investment in the club, to obtain naming rights for the new stadium...which suggests he is ready to take a more prominent role at Goodison.

And we're stuck with the yank.

As P. Diddy-Hollywood said "we don't want his type at our club". 8)

Oh hang on.... no he said that about the arsehole he ended up selling us to. :censored:

I wonder if Everton have a group of xenophobic tossers ready to march through the streets with a banner saying "Sod off Jabba"

Unsurprisingly none of those RedAction mongies come on here and try to explain themselves anymore

RedAction - a group truly deserving of the owner we have, the manager we have and the entire squad

As a rule I would never suggest slapping another Gooner, but fcuk me those c.unts need a right good kicking
It isnt just that they did the march, but they have never admitted that they did so on the prompting of the club in return for some off the books reward :censored: So many fools bought into that bullsh.t at the time and joined in with redaction without ever researching what they were opposing. Does any of them even regret now what they did back then ? Doubtful the c.unts will ever regret it and will find some justification for their protest

:banghead: Why have we so many divvy "fans groups" at this club?

We had years of abuse, threats & assaults from the AKB faction against any fans who refused to worship at the altar of the looney Wenger. :banghead:

AISA are the clubs bitch, Redaction are muggy cúnts.

Now even the Black Scarf Movement have abandoned campaigning against Kroenke & have now turned into a merchandising outlet selling retro themed tacky crap. :banghead: :banghead:

The "Let's get Kroenke Out of the Arsenal!" Facebook group has turned into an Arsenal version of the Toilet Lid led Football Lads Alliance, constantly moaning about the BLM protests, so much for campaigning against the increasing decline of our club under Kroenke's ownership. #arsenalsfuturematters

Even now our support can't be bothered to demonstrate against the worst ownership in the PL after Newcastle & they have new buyers taking over.

We get what we deserve, the muppets have already taken over the asylum! :cussing:

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke's KSE has loaned Arsenal money for their debt. What could this mean for the club going forward?

We take a look.

Dangote is a seriosly dodgy person ,if he was interested he could have bought ushmanovs shares …………...but he didn't ,he's full of wind !
Arsenal is worth close to 2 billion squid ,do you seriously think there's a que of people ready to lay that out and then pump another 300 million for players ,dream on people !
The problem with Arsenal is the clowns in senior management ,we have a bean counter and a negotiator in charge who report to the son of a billionaire who again knows fuck all about football its a joke .
Arsenal have suffered because of a manager who was past his prime, and his internal war with gazidis ,another know nothing self important twat !
Our profitability has suffered because of dwindling fortunes on the pitch ,a profligate waste of money on inflated wages due to the internal struggles and the fact that there are now two more big stadiums in London which have lured corporate money away from our overpriced stadium .
If we had a competent management structure it might be 10 years before we get back on track to being a top club but right now we are where we should be a big club badly managed and going nowhere !

Wiggy's financial jiggery pokery last week is worth a look. For anyone not interested in finance, the abridged version is that Wiggy is still a complete and utter cu.nt.

A really good article as ever by Swiss Ramble

https://twitter.com/swissramble/status/ ... 0173097984

Wiggy has taken out a KSE loan of about £180M to repay the outstanding bond holders. Arsenal debts increase by £40M as a result of bond early repayment penalties but the repayment terms will be better than currently paid to the bondholders. Nothing major in financial terms and we may well benefit from easier repayments but let's not forget that wiggy is taking on all Arsenal related debt.

Apparently the money he borrowed to buy out Usmanov is due for repayment in August so this is probably all relates to the refinancing of this facility. Do we now start paying the cost of that £500M too? That would see us having to finance £700M of his "investment" in the Arsenal.
