Brighton (A) postponed due to The Apocalypse.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What happened there? I was just making a cup of tea.
Leg break I reckon.
Yeah, looks very much like a broken ankle. Someone do that number 7 of theirs now.

Looked more like a knee injury to me - it looked like he came down and twisted it and hopefully it isnt a cruciate

I may as well say it as there's not 30,00 lugheads singing it whilst one of our players has been taken out....

Same old Arsenal, always cheating!

Tbf it wasnt a dirty act on his behalf - he went to give leno a dunt in mid air to force him out of the area, and it was just unfortunate the way he came down on it

This lot are fucking dirty. Fuck off to the lower leagues where they belong. Kicking the shit out of teams like Leyton Orient, Carlisle and Walsall on muddy pitches with nobody caring.

Add in that fucking wanker Martin Atkinson and they’ve a free ride to do what they want.

The odd flash of something but fairly poor. It has to get better in the second half, doesn't it?

Just another small-time club who just try and hack their way to finishing 17th.

Was far from the dirtiest thing you will see on a football pitch but it was just an absolute cheap shot. Knew that he had zero chance of getting the ball and was just trying to smash him - either to try and make him drop it, to force him out of the area or just for the sake of it.

You can see them trying to leave a marker on Pepe and Saka whenever they get half a chance.

There was absolutely no need to do it and I can't for the life of me understand why nothing has happened to the bloke. Why haven't the twats with the telly looked at it?

FFS! Another one out for the rest of the season! And Leno’s been one of the few decent players this season. Unnecessary challenge as well. He had the ball in his hands. But no, we won’t bother looking at that!
Just a few minutes after Saka got a forearm across him too with nothing given we get no protection from ref’s whatsoever. :banghead:

Dont know what to say after that first half - another lacklustre lazy as fcuk performance, but the injury to Leno is far more frustrating to me. He has been a key part of our team and you do worry how it will affect our mindset
