I still cannot believe we lost this. A team with real drive and "speereet" would respond to a cracker like Laca scored by taking the game by the scruff. We fucking wilted. Again.

We have now lost 15 points from winning positions and that is not acceptable. If Arteta does not make wholesale changes in the off season then he needs to go. And then the parasitic cuntworm that owns us needs to go. How we can achieve that is anyone's guess as the wig-peado could give less than half a fuck what Arsenal supporters think.
Fundamentally i agree with this DB10 but in the opposite order, Wiggy has to go first otherwise you're getting Arteta replaced by the fuckwit who appointed him in the first place, there is no chance Wiggy is going to appoint a quality Manager who will make 'unreasonable' demands.

I also think that Edu and Raul need their necks pulled in if we are to get a decent manager i still feel that they are running the show in Wiggy's absence and whilst they are there the prospect of getting someone of note is limited as the two of them will not want their own power curtailed. I personally believe that some of the shit *word censored* still being at the club is mainly down to them and not Arteta or Emery.

Sorry should have clarified that point. I meant if the reason Arteta cannot make wholesale changes is because wigworm will not invest his own cash at this critical time for the club, he also needs to go. And we all know he won't invest.

I agree fully that the current top level structure could not appoint a top manager- through both incompetence and prevarication.

Some excellent posts on here that say it all. At least I can come on here and find a group of people that can see what's wrong at our club, because believe me, the amount of supporters that either won't or can't see it, is shocking.

The scum did nothing to deserve to win that game yesterday, we simply put it on a plate for them. The trouble is, I knew exactly what was going to happen once the second half got properly underway. We had all the possession, but did absolutely nothing with it and whenever they got forward, they always looked more threatening and it was obvious that we'd get mugged. Watching us under Arteta is as though Wenger never left.

Given our parasitic arsehole of an owner and the desperate state of our squad, then a novice should never have been appointed. It needed an experienced older head and it's difficult to contend with SteveO's point that Sean Dyche would do a better job with the dross available to him. At least he'd mould them into something resembling a team with a structure and demand 100% commitment. I'm afraid that we need to forget our delusions of grandeur and accept that we're a mid table outfit at best, so need a coach that is used to organising a disparate rabble.

I had severe doubts about Arteta from day one, simply because he continued with the suicidal notion that Xhaka was the first choice centre mid. That's three managers that have bought into that lunacy and exactly how I said that it would unseat Emery, then it will do for Arteta as well. He has compounded that by making Mustafi a fixture (I'm sure he was finished under Emery), as well as bringing the likes of Kolasinac and Willock firmly into the fold, yet sidelining Guendouzi and Martinelli (injured now but benched behind Willock and Nelson when he was fit).

Whatever people might think of Auba and Lacazette etc. we have enough up front to score goals, given the wide attacking support from Saka and Martinelli (if picked). I don't include Pepe in that....he looks as thick as shit with that vacant expression and can't be bothered to put in any effort. Hard to imagine a worse waste of 70 odd million !

With the likes of Ceballos, Torreira and Guendouzi, there's enough to work with in centre mid, but by making Xhaka the fulcrum, it wouldn't much matter if you put PV4 in there.

The defence is absolutely fucking woeful. Tierney looks very promising and we seem to have two decent keepers, but we don't have a centre back worthy of the name.

I honestly wish I could stop caring.

A recent stat from the Premier League season shows that the Gunners have conceded a staggering 46% of their goals this season from set-pieces including corners, free kicks, and penalties.

Fucking ridiculous this is just continuing....

It is incredible. I have watched him for four seasons and never seen anything that would justify him playing for a top club. He is slow, he can’t tackle, very one footed, his positioning is poor, most of his passes are sideways and backwards, slows down every attack, his shooting is erratic, he gets too many yellow cards, he never gets back in time to defend. Even looking at his Arsenal career stats, they are less than impressive 127 games, 8 goals ,13 assists.

What do they see in him?

And he was 100% gone from this club back in November - stripped off the captaincy, dropped from the team and a loan move ready and waiting to Germany before we would have offloaded him permanently. Now he's the first name on the team sheet!!

There's no arguing with that. And it's a big nail in Arteta's coffin.

That's a perfect summation of Xhaka, arrgee. I'm probably his detractor-in-chief, but couldn't have put it better than that myself. Not just a very poor player, but an absolute liability, who puts us in trouble no end of times.

I said on here last week that it's bad enough carrying a passenger (and especially a dangerous one) in any position, but there are three positions where it's deadly and that's goalkeeper, centre back and centre mid. There's no way of covering or allowing for a deadbeat in those positions. After years of Wenger giving us Almunia, Fabianski, an over the hill Cech etc....Rami Shabaan anyone ? :D .....we seem to have the keeper slot sorted. Sadly, we have anyone of half a dozen centre halves who fit the liability bill and dear old club foot Xhaka in midfield, destroying any forward move that he happens to get in the way of and doing all he can to be the oppositions twelfth man and put our failing backs under pressure.

Fuck me, what a time to be a Gooner. :banghead: :banghead:

RG I would give you a massive challenge for the position of Xhaka’s detractor-in-chief.

He is an absolute no-mark and he is absolutely stealing a living.

And what’s more, he genuinely seems to think that he is undervalued. Not even honest hardworking shit, but arrogant and lazy shit.

I'm sorry NB, but I can't allow that !

I've been vehemently anti ol' club foot since his very early days under Wenger and must have bored this place rigid when I've droned on non stop about him. No matter what the thread may be about, I'll always manage to bring it around to Xhaka's crapness.

Heaven forbid, some might even say I'm obsessed, in much the way that SteveO is obsessed with Emery, Rodders with pornographic filth and DB10 with the "early mechanisation of envelope production, 1865 - 1880".

Apologies again NB, I'm normally a very generous type of chap and I do appreciate your efforts on the anti Xhaka front, but I simply can't share the accolade of Granit "detractor-in-chief".

My eldest lad had up until yesterday refused to write off xhaka, but yesterday he was going ballistic at how shit he was - all I kept hearing is that "the cu.nt cant move his feet to receive a pass and play forward"

Hard for anyone to claim the title of Xhaka’s detractor-in-chief. Must be so many contenders . I am throwing my hat into the ring. I hate him more than any Arsenal player ever!
