Napoli ‘intend to go all the way’ to sign Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos, regardless of Gabriel Magalhães’ decision. Arsenal have proposed Sokratis to Napoli in order to ‘green light’ their signing of Gabriel. [@AlfredoPedulla exclusive] #afc https://t.co/g88NFI18IX
Intend to go all the way? They make it sound hard

Napoli: Can we take sokratis off you for a fraction of what you paid for him?
Arsenal: yes
Napoli: thanks

Like every other AFC rumour it could well be bullsh.t, but I do like the thought of signing either this guy or upemancano (if they are good enough) cos they are young players and alongside saliba and tierney we could have a quality defence for a number of years

I think Upemacano is out of our reach, two highly rated young centre backs excites me gor the future, if we can get ceballos andparty as well ...
Looks like things are moving for some of the deadwood as well , was a link with Kolasinic going to Shaktar I think but cant find it , socrates and Laca as well.

If people thought that co-vid 19 totally fcuked up the 2019/2020 season, then it's nothing to what is gonna do to the coming season

Apparently the charity shield is just 12 days away and this season not even finished yet  The transfer window is currently open and will remain so until Oct 5th which is seems too far into the season for me. The fixtures for the new season aint even out year and that is bizarre with the charity shield just around the corner. People complained about the transfer system that was in place for past 2 seasons, but I liked the idea that clubs had to have their squad in place before the league kicks off - this season clubs will still be able to buy players 5 weeks into the new season

Yea but since the brits decided to fcuk off on their own and leave europe, the value of sterling his gone right down the shitter so €50 would convert into millions in the queens currency

Arsenal ‘for sure’ want to sign Gabriel Magalhães & have an agreement with Lille, the agreement between the clubs is not a problem, but it’s up to the player - Napoli are still in the race to sign him. [@FabrizioRomano] #afc

All down to the player by the looks of it , this guy is pretty reliable. Hopefully our Brazilian contingent will be enough.

Sky Sports claim Napoli have made a last ditch attempt to sign Gabriel after making the player an increased offer described as “a big salary deal”. #Arsenal remain favourites to land the Brazilian but the Italians have made an 11th-hour bid to entice the player to choose Italy. https://t.co/wPYo2CpmJp

NEW: Gabriel is inclined to accept #AFC offer where a five-year contract awaits him. Napoli made a big salary offer last night. A final decision is expected within 24 hours [info: @telefoot_chaine]

That's great but is he any good?
I don't know anything about him.

I’ve seen some you tube clips and he looks very good - he is quite a big physical unit too, which we have lacked for a while.
6ft 3” by all accounts

He was in La Liga team of the year, comparable stats with Saliba, 6fr 3 , quick, strong and left footed.
