Torreira goes on loan whilst Liverpool get £23 1/2 million for a kid with no first team appearances . Who is doing our negotiations
Mind boggling when you think about it  our negotiators are fannyholes.

scum have sold no one, no CL football, white elephant stadium to pay for, yet are spunking money, and we are quibbling over 5/10m. disgusting

yes the scum despicably and evilly are spending the tax payers money given the loan they got, shameless to the core that club, but ffs 5/10m is pocket money in this day and age yet we are still dicking around with it over aouar

its highly likely not to happen now, and him and partey together was pie in the sky. we are likely to end up with jorginho on a season long loan probably, and hes crap.

we seem to make a bit of progress n the pitch then dont fix the glaring issues in midfield that will continually undermine us.

i cant help but think auba would have been given transfer assurances to get him to sign, so i doubt we will be the only ones royally pissed off.

According to RMC Sport, #Arsenal have struggled to offload the centre-backs they wanted to get rid of, which is whyy they are now open to the idea of allowing William Saliba to go out on loan. https://t.co/0xBGdRkyon

Just watching SSN they mentioned Saliba was having some personal issues but they didn't go into exact details.
Apparently, Saliba's mum died earlier this year, not sure if this is true but that could explain the loan back to Rennes. Good of the club to look after him, at 19 we forget about how difficult it must be for some to settle in another country.

No I am not having that at all - he is a professional footballer ffs, and in that job moving from club to club, or country to country is part and parcel of that industry. He is a 19 year old person whose mother died months ago - if he worked in a factory would he been given some sort of compassionate leave this many months down the line ? Would he fcuk

There is something woefully not right about this situation - either this is just a bulls.hit story from the club to justify sending him out on loan, or we have signed another mentally weak player

If we don't sort our shit out in the next 3 days, we will be 6th at best.

Once again CDM/Midfield ignored by an Arsenal manager.
Thats unfair, he has clearly identified the midfield and named his targets, its up to the board to sign them. We maybe need to recruit a negotiator for the next window as we only have Edu it seems to take this up at present.

I read this morning that Lyon will now allow Aouar to go on loan as long as there's an option to buy for the price they're asking in the summer next year.
PSG and now Real Madrid have entered the bidding.

If the loan thing is true c'mon Arsenal sign da ting!!

I'm absolutely bored rigid with this Partey and Aouar talk - not because we don't need the players because we evidently do, but because its so obvious that it won't happen under this fucking wanker of an owner.

If Lyon will let Aouar go on loan then we should snap him up and plough all the money into the Partey deal. It gives us a year to raise the funds to buy Aouar. They've made it easier for us to get both players if of course what you read is true.

You know I'd like to know if the lower level people involved in the transfer negotiations were here under Wenger/Gazidis or have been replaced, it feels so much like Wenger and Gazidis are still here...?

Fucking club is getting on my nerves more and more these days, nothing is ever simple when it comes to transfer negotiations, fuck me I'd hate it but I'd actually respect them more if they came out and said we cant afford anyone this year a month ago

Mc, if saliba's mother died last month or in the last fe weeks I would support giving him compassionate leave and would be the first to offer to help him get to the airport - she died 5 months ago and as harsh as it sounds life must go on and he must find a way to mourn the death of his mother whilst getting on with his life. If anyone else said this it would be accepted but because I am viewed as negative it is somehow outrageous to say it  Maybe some other people feel it and wont say it but that doesnt bother me one jot. I am amazed if nobody else is questioning how this 5 months down the line, or at what stage is it ok to question it ??? :?

Said months back on this thread that every Arsenal transfer seems to be a long drawn out drama. Sick of it now.

Rumours that Arsenal are talking to Rennes about Saliba going on loan for the season. He must be looking really shit if this is true? Did anyone actually watch him play or go by a video I wonder? Weird because lots of people said what a top prospect he is. Something is not right for sure.

Different stories coming out about potential loans for saliba -

1. He hasnt played much football in the past year through injury and co-vid closing french season early - we have league cup and europa league so he should get game time here to get him up to speed

2. Personal issues - I have made my feelings clear on this already, but what I will also say is that maybe if the guy is playing regularly it will help him and give him less time to be thinking about his loss. Playing and training with his team-mates will help him settle in quicker as well, so really he needs to stay here imo

Maybe I am being selfish cos I really want to see this kid play and I want to see us build a new defence instead of sticking with one that continues to fail, but I really dont want him to go out on loan and feel that he needs to stay

I forgot to mention that rennes have apparently signed ruggani on loan from juve so maybe they wont want him now anyway
