Rapid Viennanginas A Europa Group phase KO 1755

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thursday night football with a kick off time like that?

Hopefully we actually try to create Something against these pubbers, fuck knows we could do with the practice.

Only been to Vienna twice and neither time was it "Rapid", in fact I would say it was about as 'speedy' as Fat Santos, Dinilson and clubfoot on a good day.

Arsenal Win. :barscarf:

The start of a competition we can win, to break the tedium of one where we're unlikely to finish in the top five, so a very welcome distraction for me

1-3 coming up

Vienna, it's like Paris without the French!

Can't remember who said that but it's certainly true! :barscarf:

Would have been a decent trip pre covid, plenty of ways to get there & decent bars & historical sites to visit!

I give credit to anyone who gives a fuck about the group stages. I might watch us play Dundalk for the novelty factor but is there anything more pointless than this drawn out shite. Even Unai managed to get us out of the group stages last season.

If there are starts for saliba, smith-rowe, new keeper, nelson and a few more of the young players I might give a fcuk - if it's more of the same old same old then I probably wont watch it

Saliba can’t play mate. Arteta didn’t register him for the Europa league

I know up to five subs can be used but why name two keepers on the bench? :?
