El beige v Dundalk(probably who Xhakatard and mystify should be playing for) H Thurs 8pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This ref is fucking SHIT :banghead:
By "ref" do you mean "Nelson"? :D
He looks decent until it comes to the final ball when it all goes to shit every fucking time.
Who, Nelson or the Ref?

This ref is fucking SHIT :banghead:
Fouls
Arsenal 20
Dundalk 0

How is that possible
I was actually going to check what the tally was because I knew it was massive in their favour but I can’t believe it was much as that

Fucking 3 nil up after 46 minutes and then nothing.

Bet down the fucking shit pipe :suicide:
Mate seriously - backing this team to score 4 against the Dog and Duck would be a risk. The tactical genius at the helm decided he really didn't want Pepe building up any hint of confidence after his goal, so chose to bring on Ceballos to make those trademark defence splitting passes !
I’d actually forgotten that Dani Getafe came on

Did he even touch the ball (sideways obviously).

BT just said its the 1st time in European history that a team has not committed any fouls in 90 mins of football

Would have been a real waste of time playing Saliba today. Much better to have shunted captain marvel Xhaka into the back line

I think that's harsh tbh. I've seen Ceballos put in some awesome defence splitting passes almost every game. Okay it was our defence but still......

So after my post after 38 minutes lambasting the four ‘made it’ gang, 3 of them are on the scoresheet by 48 mins. Shows they just need a rocket up their arse....

In fairness to your earlier post though two of those goals would be scored by my dead granny and apart from Pepe's sweet finish he was complete gash. Your original assessment holds up.

The Pepe goal was all I remember about this game. It was also boring I think ?. The 'Mother Red Cap' mob did OK for a pub team. :barscarf: :barscarf:
