Barring any late change of mind by Mikel Arteta, Emile Smith Rowe set to be among substitutes for Arsenal tonight against Rapid Vienna.
Just to get you in the mood for tonight's game Augie

I wonder if the Highbury squirrel will be in attendance tonight.

Look forward to our games about as much as a visit to the dentist these days - sadly even the cup games which have been pretty much all that has kept me going for the past few seasons
I thought I couldn't feel any less connection with the club and the team than I did in the last two to three years of Wenger, but somehow this sorry bunch with their 1930s paced football have managed to achieve it, whilst the likes of Edu and the clowns behind our academy offer me no hope of a brighter future
I used to call this one of three cups we could win but with this team not a fucking prayer - teams that will drop out of the CL plus the Spuds, Leicester and others are better than us by a mile. 18 points, probably victory against some other pubbers in the last 32, and an inevitable exit against anyone half decent

The sad thing is that we used to say this exact same thing about the CL group stage, qualify and go out in the last 16. When we dropped down to the EL we were big favourites to win it, but this year looking at the teams likely to enter form the CL and others still left in the EL, we can’t really be considered potential winners in current form.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 4:22 pm

That s a sad example of how we have regressed over the years.

If you cant give a start to young players in a dead rubber game where you have already qualified, then what kind of chance have they got of ever breaking through under this clown ?? At what stage will people recognise that bringing young players through is of no interest to pep's cone man ?

Why are we wearing our third kit? I thought those fucking silly days of the home side changing and some clubs never doing it in Europe were over?
