I'm glad that Mustafi isn't in that list, and I hope he's not on the manager's either !gooner265 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 6:48 pmRekik has signed as well , so looks like rekik, saliba, holding , Gabriel and mari will be our future centre halfs.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 4:28 pmhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ghig4E7QSes
According to Arteta (12 minutes in) Saliba WILL Definitely come back, it is only a short-term loan so he can get Games.

•#AFC scouted Buendia for more than 18 months but thought to be unwilling to meet £40m price.
•Willock/Nelson won't be included in any part-exchange deal - Loan possible.
•Arteta not inclined to pursue Isco.
•Nothing new on Brandt.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Watched two minutes of the victims attention seeking wh*re last night talking about potential moves in the transfer market - he absolutely ruled out bringing in anyone on loan by saying that he doesnt see how it will help his club going forward. This is a team in desperate, desperate need for centre halves and yet he would rather go with what he has than bring in a short term deal. Compare that to our situation where our manager and power brokers will spend the next few weeks begging for any leftovers from clubs around europe, and it will be to the detriment of players that we might be counting on in the coming seasons. If we need a keeper on loan to step ahead of our current back up keeper (who I didnt realise is as old as he is) then that is one thing because we have no options from within for that position - if however we bring in player for positions that we already have options then I would prefer to run with that UNLESS there is an option to make the deal permanent next summer, and unless it is something we would want to do

According to Bild, Hertha Berlin are expecting #Arsenal to recall Matteo Guendouzi this month. They claim it is not yet known how Guendouzi’s return will be received by the rest of the squad but with just 18-months left on his contract, he could face another loan or be sold. https://t.co/SrXr6C3o4A

There is no way pep's cone boy will welcome him back into the squad, so if he recalls him it is cos he has an offer from a club wanting to buy him

BBC:
West Ham have identified Arsenal's English striker Eddie Nketiah, 21, as an option to bolster their attacking options after Ivory Coast international Sebastien Haller joined Dutch side Ajax.
If they ask we should sell, he'll get in the way of Martinelli.

According to @cmdotcom, Shkodran Mustafi has turned down a potential move to Genoa due to his allegiance with Sampdoria. He played for the Blucerchiati for two years. #Arsenal https://t.co/O50mOL0ajq

Lets hope we get something for him, Mustaffi and Sokratis unlikely to get anything for.....OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 1:30 pmBBC:

What price would you say is enough to let him go ?Redarmy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:41 pmLets hope we get something for him, Mustaffi and Sokratis unlikely to get anything for.....OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 1:30 pmBBC:

I would think £15m seeing as he is young, and English.
Would letting him move on be seen by Balogun as opening the door for him, enough to sign a new deal ?

Think theres too many in front of him and from what we have seen unlikely to make the grade, good luck to him if he moves onStuartL wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 4:40 pmWhat price would you say is enough to let him go ?Redarmy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:41 pmLets hope we get something for him, Mustaffi and Sokratis unlikely to get anything for.....OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 1:30 pmBBC:

Balogun however looks interesting, has to be given a chance IMO
Hope he dont turn out to be another Gnabry
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
More like he was offered no more than £40k per week compared to the astronomical, outrageous wages he's being paid here. Wonder what he would have done if Genoa were able to match his wages - he'd be off like a shot, greedy useless piece of shitmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 2:52 pmAccording to @cmdotcom, Shkodran Mustafi has turned down a potential move to Genoa due to his allegiance with Sampdoria. That's what a lot of people are saying, which is why Arteta needs to bring him into the squad and start using him otherwise his agent will get him a good deal elsewhere and we'll lose him before we find out just how decent he might be.Redarmy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 8:56 amThink theres too many in front of him and from what we have seen unlikely to make the grade, good luck to him if he moves onStuartL wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 4:40 pmWhat price would you say is enough to let him go ?Redarmy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:41 pmLets hope we get something for him, Mustaffi and Sokratis unlikely to get anything for.....OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 1:30 pmBBC:
