ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I am greatly relieved that we have signed another (Back-up) Keeper, because having witnessed runarsson in action he looked decidedly Dodgy.

He has knowledge of the Prem - which can't be a bad thing.

Rumours growing stronger by the minute Twitter etc that Odegaard is 99% signed on loan. :barscarf:
We better have an option to buy rather than doing Madrid favour of he turns out to be a hit in the PL
You can bet your arse if he is a success his price tag will take a leap by the summer and we'll not have put in place any clause to cover this eventuality

Mat Ryan (who????) signs until end of the season as back up keeper. :|

Decent signing tbf - lack of money greatly restricted our options, so signing a good keeper with premier league experience on loan makes sense to me 8)
Happy with that, if Leno got injured and we had to rely on the other lad we were fucked (or more fucked than usual).

ballbag rapidly backtracking, originally saying we had no chance and he would go to sociedad. he may still do but this just undermines this pricks credibility even more if it needed it backtracking to cover his arse. the least In The Know amongst all the other ITK twats, especially all those plums on twatter saying Aouar was done deal. (no offence mcD!) i cant recall the names but there were 3 with a decent following on twitter on transder DD and lead up all crapping on about Aouar and trust them.

doubt madrid will give option to buy, not in their interests.

id rather have him on loan with no option than no one else at all in that position as ESR cannot do it all himself. This guys may end up a duff, but did well for Sociedad, but was claimed to be next big thing once...but then so was that 'Sonny' kid with the long hair...wonder what happened to him, and freddie adu too.

Any GK is better than the icelandic bloke...

Madrid not interested in a buy clause apparently so out of our hands , think they know they have a player there by Zidane doesn't like him but he may be gone on the summer.
It's a catch 22 if he is brilliant will be great for us but may pit him out of our price range or Madrid may keep him. If he's average but has potential we may keep him but he won't have contributed much.

Mat Ryan is a much better option as back up GK than what we have at present. The Icelandic dude just wasn't cutting it, innit bra!

Indeed, god help us if we needed to field him in a run of matches....

The Standard say #Arsenal are one of several Premier League sides watching Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell. https://t.co/iXBzwVLpxt

Good player no doubt, but would he come as understudy to Tierney ?

This move would make more sense to me - a young player that would be willing to be a back up but who will still get enough football to keep him happy

Mate NONE of those cùnts are ITK. If some boring little statto cùnt (augie? ) did the math we'd see these fuckwits throw 50 or 60 ITK transfer stories out there and maybe one would happen. Complete bollocks all of it. If you throw enough shit at a wall some of it will stick.

For poppah roddaz you can replace shit with jizz obviously. :D

If we do sign Bertrand we could have 3 ex over 30 Chavs playing in the same side. :banghead:

Just as we are scouring the earth looking for basement bargain players to bring in Balogun sets up a reminder of what we are about to lose by scoring a hat-trick last night.
