If lads on here want to say that leno isnt good enough then I have no problem with that, but when they hold martinez as a better keeper it makes me laugh - a 10 year career at our club which ended with a very good few months and a trophy, but it seems that the previous nine and a half seasons have been wiped from memory Last night's performance was woeful from him, and I pointed out here another mistake last week too, but some lads are only watching leno's performances and casting martinez as better without watching his games at all. I liken martinez as a slightly better bamford - a player that has had a great spell which is totally at odds with everything he has shown in his career to date, but who will revert to average and people will wonder what the fuss was all about.

I do agree that he will probably have a stormer at the weekend though

Leno reminds me a lot of the stupid cùnt that was Lehmann. A talented athletic keeper that could make some amazing saves, but at the same time make too many stupid decisions and unforced errors. That's why I consider both as good keepers but neither of them world class or even top class for the PL.

Lehmann cost us two CL trophies because of stupid decisions he made. And I have this awful awful feeling Leno will also cost us a trophy due to a stupid decision or unforced error.

Every time Martinez let's in a goal a couple of window lickers on here will pop up with "look look he let in a goal he's shit too".

Letting in goals is not the real criteria to judge a keeper by. All keepers let in goals ffs. The game would be shit if they didn't. The real criteria is unforced errors and bad decision making. I would rate Leno and Martinez as about the same in their ability to stop a shot. But the key thing for me is Martinez makes less stupid decisions and less unforced errors.

Cue window lickers piping up with "he made a stupid decision" the next time Martinez makes one....

Yep all keepers make some stupid decisions or unforced errors.... the fucking point is the better ones make less of those.

Arteta made a mistake in letting Martinez leave. And people saying he should have told Martinez to stay and fight for the jersey have it the wrong way round. He should have handed Martinez the number one slot and told Leno to fight for it.

What has fucked the victims* this season is Stupid Teeth himself. I said on here previously that his high tempo high press system relies on huge amounts of luck with injuries and fitness. It's not sustainable over a long period of time. The victims have run out of steam. They've started to pick up the key injuries that they avoided through luck last season.

Stupid Teeth is not the football genius that a few of our soccer fan boys on here think he is. He is a chancer like Moron-hio is a chancer. They find a quick fix system that takes a league by surprise, spend gazillions on top players and have short term success at a club. But they always get found out.

Also last year the victims* had so many dodgy ref and VAR decisions go their way that even the corrupt cheating cùnts that run VAR and the refs group have said "ok we better hold back a bit this season, it's getting too obvious ffs".
