As you say goalkeepers will make mistakes and their errors are highlighted more than any other player on the pitch because they usually lead to goals conceded. Leno fucked up the other night and I have no issue in calling him out for it and yes he does have a worrying tendency to parry shots back into the danger area, rather than pushing them wide of the goal (although sometimes he gets criticised on here for doing that from shots that are from point blank range where all he can really do is just make the save - but that's a side point).

There are some people on here who have a serious man crush on Emi Martinez, and look I get it, he's a strapping fellow, 6 foot 3 inches of pure South American man beef, let's be honest we'd all have a go on that I'm sure.

I hate to be the one to come on here and shatter their schoolgirl dreams but I'm afraid to say that he's just not as good as they so desperately want to believe and I'm going to have to keep telling them that until they finally put on their big boy pants and move on from it.

It's not going to make me popular, it's a step down from the puerile shite I usually post, but it's my civic duty and I intend to keep doing it.

***Disclaimer*** - If Martinez is MOTM Saturday I shall be taking a sabbatical from this forum for a prolonged period of time
