My sister has now had her second test after her first one was positive, after the second test she received a text that said
"Your coronavirus test result is negative. It's likely you did not have the virus when the test was done.
Keep following coronavirus advice including:
- regular handwashing
- social distancing
- wearing a face covering where recommended
You only need to self-isolate if:
- you get symptoms of coronavirus (you'll need to book a new test at https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-
- you're going into hospital (self-isolate until the date you go in)
- someone you live with tests positive
- you've been traced as a contact of someone who tested positive
You can return to work if you've not had a high temperature for 48 hours and feel well. Contact your employer first."
The rest of her household were all negative so that's some good news, my sister did say that she was sure she had lost her taste and so did my nephew, I said its obviously you're cooking.
I got told to fuck off so can confirm she is well![]()

Firstly glad your sister is ok mate.![]()
Secondly when I had all the symptoms last March and had the test the result came back (thankfully) negative but with the wording something like this: "on the day you were tested there was no evidence of COVID 19 detected".
Now at the time my test had been delayed by over two weeks after I'd spoken to my GP, which was also nearly a week after I had first become ill.... I still wonder if I had it or not.

I have a mate who was sent a home testing kit, anyhow being the laid back fucker he still hadn't done the test and sent it back a few days later.
He then had a text saying he had tested positive for covid, he replied, "that's some brilliant test kit because I still have it"
