The system is broken and corrupt. The ref should have given it immediately. The fucking VAR gimp then should have never pushed it back on the ref.

The frustrating thing about this Arsenal side no body would have been in the refs face had he not given/reviewed it,whereas other clubs players would have not left the ref alone until it was reviewed,we are just so naive for a side with so much experience,they seen to accept a lot of injustice
Even Huff n Puff did a bit in that half in fairness. Most of our players have done well with the exception of Xhakatard who has done nothing, Butter Wrists who did his usual parry one back into the danger area, and Mari who looks very nervy.

VAR looks at about 15 replays of the first penalty before deciding that it is not only clear and obvious, but actually so clear and obvious that the referee isn’t allowed to view it on the monitor to make his own mind up.
How neither the linesman nor the ref saw that handball is an absolute mystery. His arm was out beyond his head when he blocked that cross for fucks sake. Even then the referee has to go to his monitor and watch it a few times before begrudgingly giving it.

Soyuncu should have been booked for hacking down Pepe and then throwing the ball away. Ndidi deliberately tripped Pepe when bursting into the box and then blocked a goal bound shot with his arms fully outstretched - no yellow.

Absolutely, I've been saying it for years. Other clubs get round the ref in seconds whereas our lot just stand there. They should be in his ear every time there's something but the lack of leadership means we don't have anyone. Make Tierney captain, he'll be the one.
