Disregard Mills he hates the Arsenal.....DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 11:42 amExactly. Who the fuck would listen to Danny fucking Mills. Shite footballer, worse pundit. A fucking nothing speck on the arse of football ffs.Arsenal Till I Die wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 11:30 amDanny Mills is, and always will be, a bitter, talentless cünt, who holds resentment towards Arsenal because we used to slap him team, whenever they rolled into Highbury.wilson2.0 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 9:05 amDanny Mills on talksport is on fire. First he says Man United should have been in for Ben White over Varane as White has 'proven it in the premier league', where as you know Varane has only 4 CL winners medal a World Cup medal. According to Mills proving adequacy in the premier league is the gold standard in world football. Then he said Ben White was 'better' than Arsenal and should not be moving here.
Im all for White signing & think he is a good player. But what is it with shit pundits with no respect for La Liga, Serie A or the Bundesliga. You can throw in Andy Gray too, the villain who first raised the idea of whether Messi would do it at Stoke. The questions is not whether Messi could hack it in the premier league, the question is if he played in the premier league would he break the goal scoring record.
I'll never forget when Henry made an absolute mug of the prick at the corner flag at Highbury when we beat Boro.
As for Ben White; I actually had to Google him when we were first linked. Then again, the only Brighton defender I know is Dunk, so...there's that.![]()

It's OK, world footballing legend Carlton Cole has advised him to go to wet sham.Redarmy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 11:57 amFuck me another fucking CHAV on loan....when will they ever learnaugie wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 9:08 amwilson2.0 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 8:56 amFresh link is with Tammy Abraham. Which is just baffling, we have Lacazette, PEA and Martinelli who can play down the middle and all three are better than Tammy. There is no need to sign a striker or even a wide player. All focus needs to to be at the back and in midfield.
Believe me when I say that the only reason why we should not sign abraham is because he is utter, utter dogshite - who we have or havent already got is irrelevant![]()
Where does that leave Martinelli?

£30m on the worst goalkeeper in the league last season.

I'm telling you, someone is on the take because we are getting some truly shocking players for big fees.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Still out wide on the left. He isn't ready yet to play through the middle.Redarmy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 11:57 amFuck me another fucking CHAV on loan....when will they ever learnaugie wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 9:08 amwilson2.0 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 8:56 amFresh link is with Tammy Abraham. I'd rather have that fat fucker who ate the pie when we played a Sutton, than Ramsdale.

I’ll say it again. Something is not right about the deals we are doing. Does Edu have a dog? I bet it has a bank account. (allegedly)
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Spurs and Utd are I terested in him as well which is probably why they've pushed the price up hoping for a bidding war, Utd also looking as Neves to replace Pogba who PSG are trying to buy.augie wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 9:05 amThe Express this morning claims that lyon have now upped the asking price for Aouar to £25m - what has sparked the increase when no club has bid is beyond me, but to me it is still a price I would pay.
I was listening to an Irish podcast yesterday evening where they had the french journo phillipe auclair (yes wenger's buddy) and he was talking in general about the state of french club football - he spoke about the collapse of a tv deal that has tore the arse out of french football, and even though amazon have signed a deal now to cover french football, it is nowhere near the same money as the previous deal was worth. He didnt use the exact phrase shitfest, but he said something along those lines (cant remember the phrase now) when he described the state some clubs are in (he names league champions lille in that), and he said that with the exception of psg, all french clubs are gonna need to sell just to survive.
I said it before and I will say it again, moussa dembele and Aouar would be massive additions for this Arsenal team, and both are with the right age groups for modern day AFC. I know that dembele went on loan to Ath Madrid for second half of last season and didnt score a goal, but he was injured for a while, plus (more importantly) I have seen this guy play and he is a good player. Personally I would offer lacazette and cash for both these players, and I think it would be a very good deal for all concerned![]()
Said it before not many agreed with me , we sold the wrong keeper, he looks absolutely top class now with another medal to boot.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I’ve barely watched Tammy Abraham in a full game but he seems ok in highlights
we put a lot of crosses in these days but Auba and Laca are utter dogshit in the air. Having a focal point up front might help give us more structure and a plan B so I’ve been Keen on a big man up front for a while…
No idea if Abraham is the answer though

If Abraham isn't higher in the Chelsea pecking order than Timo Werner then he really is shit.

Not much of comparison but Abraham scored the same amount of PL goals as Werner last season (6), Werner played more.

Sell Martinez for buttons. Keep Leno. 12 months later buy Ramsdale for £30m and no doubt sell Leno for buttons. Martinez is now worth £50m. Do we need to get the fraud squad in because that looks like money laundering to me? Absolutely can’t get my head around signing the worst keeper in the league for that money. He is dreadful. Wtaf is going on?
