Re: League Cup
Tough draw - I imagine it will be moved to the Wednesday since we are playing Sunday afternoon.
Bit annoying we have to play Man City on the Saturday lunchtime though.
Modern day scheduling makes absolutely no sense.

Re: League Cup
Look forward to it - will be the first game I go to this season
Re: League Cup
Frankly, our only hope of competing with them is wait for them to go bankrupt, and or a decent set of financial fair play rules come into forceBobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 9:19 pmWe left Highbury to compete with Baye….

Oh ffs West Brom? How exciting… the Olympiakos of England

Re: League Cup
The club haven't even updated the fixture list - it still says TBC
Glad we are such a massive trophy laden club that we can afford to turn our noses up at the best chance of European football

Re: League Cup
Probably more interesting than West Brom.
As said above, its got a touch of the Olympiacos about it without Rodders rose petal candlelit bath and Barry White CDs sadly
I was hoping for Barrow or someone else very Northern and very new. Fuck knows how many times we've played boring West Brom
Still, hope we give it a proper shot. Route back to the EL !
Re: League Cup
League cup winners now qualify for the europa conference thing instead of europa league. Still, could be our only way of getting back into European competition!SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 7:49 amProbably more interesting than West Brom.
