As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
You can't imagine Levy and Conte being a marriage made in heaven, and what's clear is that Conte is holding all the aces as he's fucked them off once before, only for them to come grovelling back months later.
There isn't a magic money tree at the filth and the debt on the new stadium dwarfs ours. Can only suggest to me that Fat Tongue is now going to be fucked off in January and they have promised him all the money to reinvest. With that in mind may I be the first to hope there's a late December injury that rules him out for the season

the problem they have only city wanted him in the summer no one else had the money to buy hm
if City are still in the title fight in January Pep might not buy him as still sulking at not getting him in the summer and would offer less than last summer plus his current form is poor
not sure Newcastle could afford him under financial fair play as there income is low
kane couldn't go to Newcastle as he only wants to win medals and that won't happen there for a few seasons

Apparently Mbappe is fucking off from PSG at the end of the season though isn't he?* (*for all the fucks I give about French football!)
Surely they'd see Kane as an ideal target, and he would be competing for CL every season. Other than that you're probably right though - rest of European football is virtually bankrupt!
Conte is a top manager, Spurs will get better under him.
They should have sold Kane though, his presence is negative energy, he is clearly pissed at not being able to leave. His breakthrough year was 14-15 and he gave Spurs 7 seasons and scored over 200 goals for them. He is now 28 and has not lifted a trophy, pretty remarkable considering he is likely to go past Shearer as the premier leagues top scorer.
There comes a time when you need to let the player leave as the era has run its course. Spurs should have allowed Kane to leave last year, but Levy is obsessed with his own persona of being a 'hard negotiator'.
Kanes default position is he wants to leave & nothing will change that, only 1 goal this year and many rubbish performances to go with it. He wont rediscover his love for playing for Tottenham again. Scorched earth policy by Tottenham in keeping him.
Ffs peed off about this wtf is going on how on earth can they afford him? None of it makes sense why he would go there or how they can afford him.
I hope it all ends in tears but what it means is mass media coverage of these *word censored* again all in the papers and having to read about them. Under nuno they became footnotes. Even if this is a disaster it will occupy acres of print.

Don't worry mate. Uncle Old Dirty Bastard has never let you down have I?
It'll go swimmingly for a couple months with the new manager buzz, the media hype, a couple of good results.... and then Levy won't be able to resist tinkering in the manager's job, Conte will start to get suspicious that the money for players might not be anywhere near what Levy's lies led him to believe, rumours of a "behind the scenes spat" will circulate in the media, Levy will announce how him and Conte are best mates with "utmost respect for each other", a Conte presser in Italian will get miss-translated, more rumours of a "bust up" in the boardroom, and bang bish bash bosh Conte is sacked or quits.... it's the spurz way!
