Media commentators already saying match cancellations should be for Covid cases only! :banghead: Of course this does not apply to other corrupt clubs just Arsenal. :censored:

What is it with our ex players sticking the boot in, Matthew Upson saying it should be for covid cases only, no mention of the cheating scouse vermin at all? :cussing:

It never fails to amaze me how we're to blame for everything or how one rule exists for us and about 400 rules exist for everyone else.

To be honest there is only a fuss about this because it is such a high profile game.
If it was the Burnley match on Sunday and we had put a request in it would already have been granted and nobody would be too bothered.

The news of Arsenal’s request triggered anger at Tottenham, who are concerned their arch-rivals are using the rules to have the game called off because their best players are unavailable. [@SamiMokbel81_DM] #afc

Be more surprised if it is called off even if we have a few covid cases let alone injuries.

4-30 sky game they will want it to go ahead and they DO have influence.

Lets hope a few can be patched up and play but loaning two players out may well come back to shoot us in the foot.

They have a few out Son and a couple of cb's.

The whole process is a farce 'case by case' depends on who it is and what match it is.

Seems to be triggering the anger in a load of journalists too ,no anger in them last week when Liverpool made up imaginary cases to get a game called off ,Gary neville getting in on the act as well.

1 journalist even brought up the the game from about 16 yrs ago where the scum players got food poisoning and he says the game should have been called off but it wasn't, fuck them all

Fuck em. They wouldn't put a game back in 1980 to help us when we had a million games in a month so absolutely fucking fuck them. Also, didn't they call about five games off in December? Fucking scum, fuck off.

Leicester got their game last Tuesday v Everton postponed because -
Leicester initiated the postponement after being hit by numerous absences among playing staff.

Stars including Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans and Ricardo Pereira are suffering from long-term injuries.

Meanwhile, four players in Wilfried Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Daniel Amartey and Nampalys Mendy are at AFCON, with Patson Daka on standby.
and their request was granted. Not a single covid case in the squad just injuries and AFCON absentees same as we have.

So that was the FA decision just 4 days ago, why should it be any different now?

The absolute vitriol and outrage in the media at our request is laughable but comes as no surprise to me.

Completely agree with this. Its why we were forced to play the Brentford game. First game of the season, Friday night live on Sky. Nobody can tell me they didn't have a say in the decision.

Rat faces Neville and all the other journos who were in a coma these last few months have finally awoken and they’re fucking outraged!

It’s a disgrace, game must go on, shocking from Arsenal, games should not be called off for any other reason than covid, injuries and absentees are part of the game.

When the scum, victims, united and the rest of the league were calling off games left right and fucking centre over Christmas nobody batted an eyelid but now that we’ve done it the whole world is up in arms.

Fucking despicable c.unts the lot of em

We’ve been fucked over twice by cancellations already, Brentford on the opening day when our request was denied and Wolves had us and united away back to back over Christmas and got our game pulled because they didn’t fancy the schedule. Permission granted.

We all know the outcome of this.
