ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Anyone know how we're doing on the Julian Draxler transfer front?

Part of me thinks fuck Vlahovic but the other part of me says no, come here, score 50 goals in 18 months and then fuck off to City for £140m!!
I agree with all of them as I sounds a right *word censored* and he doesn’t want to come here does he but Teecee is right spot on . This is what we should have done with Suarez as we all knew he would be worth double in a couple of years .

My hairdresser's sister's best friend saw him leaving Heathrow in a taxi with Loic Remy

I’ve just seen a stretch limousine driving into Colney. In the back was the following:

Kalou
Higuain
Joe Cole
Draxler
Remy
Mexes
Aouar
Hatem Trabelsi

Vic Akers was driving it. Wenger was in the passenger seat. He’s back baby. :barscarf:

Yep. Forgot those two. I also missed that Yaya Toure was strapped to the roof rack.

Al driven by Owen Coyle, who is definitely going to be our next manager.

Its starting to sound like one of those trailers trying to get across from Calais! Hopefully they won't find Juan Mata curled up in the suitcase !

Whilst he isnt top of my wanted list, I think that for the money being talked about I would rather sign calvert-lewin that vlahovic. I really cant get my head around how any club (much less ours) would pay that amount of money for a player who was unheard of this time last year, and whose goals record against the better Italian teams is utter dogshite. Again I know that it is only rumours, but apparently juve are willing to pay €30m for the guy, but all non Italian clubs are apparently bidding twice that amount :? Calvert-Lewin knows the league and is a grafter and might actually want to join us, and is a better goalscorer than lacazette imo

Been watching the Villa vs Everton game and DCL looks pretty average. I don't believe he is a big upgrade on Laca and would probably cost north of 50 million himself. Probably would score a few more goals than Laca but his hold up play isn't th best.

Third game back after being out injured for 5 months. You’d be a bit rusty too.

Not saying he’s the answer but give the guy a bit of a break (and perhaps give Xhaka a break, preferably tibia and fibia on both legs).
