As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Another massive concern is that for a team that has had no European football we look absolutely fucking shattered and burned out in January.
The last 2 games we’ve played like we’re at game 60 of the season. No excuse for it
Did you see how some of our players crashed to the turf at the final whistle?? Like they had just lost 3-2 after extra time in a titanic CL final.
Alarming...they looked exhausted....from what????

Can someone tell me what Sambi Lokonga does? Please? I haven’t a clue.
Haha I’m not sure but he reminds me a lot of Denilson. Very mediocre at everything and obsessed with passing sideways/backwards.
Not writing him off but he’s not been great at all.

Another great stat is that apparently this is the first season since 1989/90 that we will end January not in any cup competitions
1991/92? We went out of the FA Cup in the 3rd round at Wrexham, out of the European Cup (Benfica) and League Cup (Coventry) well before Christmas.

We really, really, REALLY need a striker
it’s just not fair to expect our midfielders to keep bailing us out. We need a focal point, someone to occupy the centre backs and score fucking goals. Laca is simply not a striker anymore and it’s killing us.

Lakonga is no improvement on Willock imo.

Our scouts must be on the lookout for players who have perfected the art of sideways and backwards passing

If only we had a Premier League proven goalscorer, with a record of a goal every two games for our club.
Oh wait, we do but Arteta won’t even put him on the bench

He studies his hero pep not playing a striker, the difference with us and city is they have midfielders who chip in with goals, whereas we pick a striker who couldn’t score in a brothel with 50 quid in his pocket
