With Citeh and the dippers still to play each other, I'd put the mousers as favourites, Pepe will be brickin it ! especially if there's only a couple of points in it.
I saw the game last nite as I was out for a bite in the pub.
Thought sperz rode their luck at times, but defended well and Citeh simply couldn't handle sperz pace on the counter attack.
I'd fancy Klopp to turn them over and if he was manager of any other club (except sperz) then I'd be cheering him on.

2 first half goals for Auba away at Valencia. Meanwhile, we’ve got Laca and Eddie :(

Regrettable g88ner, but whether he and Arteta had fallen out or not, he was taking the piss out of the club with his conduct and taking the piss out of the fans (he claimed to love) with his effort or lack of it on the pitch.
He did the same at Dortmund and no doubt will at the whores!
Fuck him, irrespective of what I think of Arteta, he was 100% right to get shot of him!
How many times had Wenger and Emery lacked the balls to stand up to this sort of behaviour!
I know his continuing with xhaka is puzzling, but I think he will be gone this summer.

Hat trick for Aubamayang today then.

Yes he should have gone because Arteta couldn’t do anything with him, but that’s probably the biggest issue here - the top managers will always get their top players playing despite any difficulties there might be.

Far from true. Football is littered with big name managers falling out with big name players and vice versa.

Scraping the barrel critising Arteta there.

g88ner, Arteta did great things with him until he spat his dummy out!

Wasn't a hat trick either. No way he can claim the third.

Haha not seen it  - he’s already got as many league goals for Barca as Laca has for us this season   …. But tbf, Laca is probably 40 whereas Auba is a young man in comparison at 32

McTomanay kicking everything in sight at Leeds yesterday and yet referee refused to send him off.......if we were playing it would have been 10 red cards for us.

Yeah but I thought Fernández was the worst offender, he never even makes the effort to look like he's going for the ball.

If it's not a conspiracy (I don't think it is tbh) and it's not anti-Arsenal bias (it could be) then at the very least it shows the appallingly inconsistent and shit level of refereeing and VAR adjudicating in this league.

Had auba been finishing like that we'd be 3rd and he'd have been on double figures for the season. He wasn't and at one point, especially the Watford home game, it was almost like he was sabotaging the team effort to score. So, time to move on from him.

Auba joins the list of players playing overseas that I couldn't give two fucks about.......err, that would be all of them!

Absolutely rubbish league with no chance of providing the CL winner again.

Which is fine apart the fact we haven’t moved on because Nketiah is a massive downgrade on Auba.

In fact, we’re so short of options in attack that it wouldn’t surprise me if we end up trying ESR or Pepe as a false 9 in the next few weeks.

We need 40 year old Laca to start clicking in the final third. He was awful against Brentford.

Apart friom being largely responsible for Saka's goal and being the only link between defence midfield and attack . Not to mention having a goal contentiously ruled out .
You might be right.
