As a team we were able to absorb the loss of Tomi and remained relatively solid defensively for the most part in his absence but since Tierney also got crocked resulting in a weakness in both full back positions we’ve completely collapsed at the back.

There was a point in the season where our defence was the strongest part of our game, now it’s our weakest.

We cant play out the back if one player is shitting their pants because it sends jitters throughout the backline. Ramsdale and White as the right sided centre back look erratic - its because Cedric is in meltdown mode.

Agreed. With Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey we had 6 quality players who vibed together and we looked like a proper defensive unit.

Half of them are missing and the three stand ins are dragging down the others.

Of course Ramsdale lookes like a shadow of his former self, as well as White. They are carrying extra burden.

I have have called out Cedric for the last three weeks. This guy is more a liability than Tavares. Tavares also gets additional protection from Xhaka, protection Cedric doesn't enjoy from Elneny, who is also guilty of giving the ball away in a fews dangerous areas.
