THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

maybe if he's sitting in the shopping trolley it could have the handbrake leetle beet on...

In fairness he should probably get a statue for his fist 10 years if he left after 10 years, but his 2nd ten should dictate he gets nothing, he got sacked....sorry i mean he walked away one of the richest charlatans in football and deserves nothing but a swift kick in the balls for the state he left the club in.

:banghead: Only a tin pot dictatorship or a football club living in the past would be putting up more statues of living persons FFS! :box:

The Herbert Chapman one should stay, the rest should be put in the club museum. It's fucking embarrassing, like the club is happy knowing it's most successful period is in the past & not the future! :cussing:

A pathetic wretch of a man, trying to relive the days when he was a media darling and the footballing world actually listened to what he said.

There will be no room to move outside the stadium with all the fucking statues.

I'm not a huge fan of having statues of people that are still alive.

My god - as if the Gen Z tourists on the concourse weren't busy enough filming themselves outside the ground, we'll now have to contend with the love-in of this old tool. Still trying to forget about him FFS !

Well Mc, at least it would be an accurate representation of the absolute mug, because I always thought he was a statue in the pitch, as the opposition midfielders ran past him to threaten our goal. We must surely have the statue pointing.

Arteta is determined to bring back Arsene Wenger to Arsenal Football Club in a senior advisory role. The two have been in contact last season to discuss what path would be best to complete a sensational return.

The unveiling of his statue is a step in convincing Arsene Wenger.
