Pepe is, at best, a back up to the back up - imo we should focus on improving the starting 11 as an absolute priority before padding the squad. Also the comments from a few of ye about this guy replacing pepe is amusing me - has the useless c.unt gone ? Has anybody even been linked with buying the c.unt ? Methinks pepe will either go nowhere this transfer window or he will go somewhere on loan only, and either way we will be splashing big money to replace a player that we werent using and arent gonna get money for

Secondly, competition for odeargod ??? Smith-Rowe is BY FAR the best number 10 we have and pep's cone boy wont play him there, so signing another guy for that position compounds lego head's ongoing fcuk ups
I said “if” Pepe goes he’ll need replacing. There’s zero point keeping him if Arteta won’t play him (I think I read his last league start was October!)

Annoyingly, I think you’re right that no one will buy him so he’ll be loaned out in the hope he has a great season somewhere and his value increases.

Atalanta have ‘set their sights’ on Nuno Tavares. Arsenal are willing to do a straight loan or loan with obligation to buy for €40m. [@DiMarzio]

Eddie Nketiah will take the vacant #14 jersey at Arsenal as part of a clause in his contract that signed him to a new long-term deal with the club. [@TikiTakaConnor] #afc

Signing this fella is depressing me - we are never gonna be where we want/need to be as long as this fella and nketieh are our striker options  For second summer in a row it seems that we are giving this clown big money to spend, and the net result will be that we will fall further behind our rivals and a thin transfer budget for the next manager to come in to try and fix this c.unts mess

Who would you realistically sign augie? - someone who will get us to where we want to go as you say?

I’m ok with Jesus at this point as I’m not seeing links to anyone better (?), but then again, I would have been ok with Vlahovic and Abraham too yet they weren’t popular on here either.

From Henry to Theo to Nketiah…. The downwards trajectory of the number 14 shirt

Then there’s the poor number 10 shirt… from Bergkamp to Gallas

His goals to games ratio was only bettered by Aguero at City and has a great assist record , give him a chance at least. Id prefer a team that spreads round the goal rather than be over reliant on one player.

Clearly doesnt want a big target man , looking for a flexible forward system .

Arsenal are still working on Youri Tielemans deal with Leicester waiting for an official proposal, while Fábio Vieira deal will be signed in the coming hours. ⚪️🔴 #AFC

Vieira has accepted a five year deal, Porto receive €35m plus add-ons. Release clause won't be activated.

Arsenal are at the front of the queue to sign Aaron Hickey, but will have to pay upwards of £18m. Bologna are preparing for life after Hickey & it is a case of when, not if, he moves on, with Arsenal the most likely destination. [@TheScotsman] #afc https://t.co/jIWCVc9tSs
