Guitarist's Thread

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Streamed an old documentary I'd watched years ago , "oil city confidential" basically a biography of Dr Feelgood!
Brilliant watch and what a proper fucking band they were!

I remember going to see them back in the 80's... it was like organised chaos on stage with Wilko Johnson and Lee Brilleaux..they were like a force of nature.

Amazing gig, came out exhausted from trying to keep up with them....

Don't think there was anything comparable with them.
They played in Portrush when I was in my mid teens, me and my mate wanted to go and see them so much.
Portrush in those days wasn't a place for 2 lads from Derry and more to the point we couldn't afford it.

I could learn it sure. If you can learn neoclassical shred you can learn anything!

But I'll never want to learn it. It's so twee and fucking navel gazing. It's a guitar ffs not a drum kit. :box:
