Streaming Advice

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Using a vpn is NOT illegal in itself, it's a legitimate tool that started off in the business world before being used in other scenarios.

Your ISP can only see the address of the server that you connect to, they can't see beyond that to your final destination.

Most vpn services keep user logs which do in fact show where your connections go onto after their servers. This is the information that authorities request by court order if they want to bother with prosecution etc. This is extremely unlikely to happen for someone sitting at home watching the odd movie or TV show. They only go that far for those that abuse the process in order to make money from it.

There are some vpns (Private Internet Access and Ironsocket to name just two) that do not keep any user logs so your activity is totally untraceable beyond the vpn server. The two I mentioned have proven many times in US courts that they don't keep logs even when compelled by law to produce them in court.

With regard to what server to use, unless you are trying to access a particular service that is geoblocked to a specific country (BBC iPlayer in the UK for example) then always choose the best server that is closest to home. You will experience less drop in download speed that way. You're only trying to mask your location, nothing more.

Stremio addons.... really the only one you need is Torrentio. That includes several of the best sources in one package. It's not available directly within Stremio but a quick Google will give you multiple YouTube tutorials on how to install and set it up.

Another thing...

Stremio sources. The really big files (10, 30, 50Gb) are usually direct bluray rips containing 4K Dolby Vision, 7.1 surround sound, Atmos etc etc. Unless your setup includes the ability to play those things then save yourself the bother and go for the smaller files with standard video and 2 channel stereo sound.

No point in struggling to play a 4K movie with surround sound if you only have a 1080p TV with it's built in speakers. Your setup is only as good as your slowest or weakest component.

Apparently it’s because it’s not being televised anywhere…..so therefore no stream available
Do we demand our money back ?

Come on Clummo, old chap. Surely you know a way to get a broadcast from the CCTV cameras inside the ground.

I've ripped the .com stream but it's practically radio commentary whilst watching some bloke talking and Jeremie Alliadiere chipping in with the odd cliché

Not streaming advice but now tv are offering sky sports for £17.99 a month for 6 months and can cancel any time.

Thought it worth mentioning as our next 4 games are on sky!

For anyone who is using Drogon TV, having just renewed my 3 month subscription I thought I would check out a programme recommended to me by a friend who lives in the States called "The Eric Andre Show" - It is HILARIOUS!!!

3 examples:
The Female Singing Group "The Supremes" of Tampa Motown fame - all in their 60's / 70's doing back-up vocals for Exhumed - The Gothic/Death Band ... Or Josh Rogan (Actor) gets interviewed about his sex life... or a famous Asian Porn Star - can't recall her name but WOWSA!!! - At least I think she was a She!? :rubchin:

It is meant to mimic a Chat Show - But the host/ guy Eric Andre has semi-famous guests on there - But he gets them to do all sorts of Crazy stuff, he also goes out onto the streets of New York - But he takes "Interviewing" to a Whole New Level... I mean there is NOTHING this guy will not do/ say etc to get a Re-action... Including interviewing these (Genuine) Italian Mafioso guys hanging out outside a Pizza place... I mean how he has not been Hospitalised or Shot I just do not know.

He dresses up as a Mail Man and gets on the Underground and starts opening the (Pretend) mail he is meant to be delivering and reading the (pretend) letters out loud and all sorts... The Looks on the commuters faces....

He aims to shock the public and succeeds 100%...

But is As Funny As Fuck! 8)
