SLAVERY WORLD CUP 2022

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I know someone will, but has Arsenal number 2 and USA no.1 Matt Turner, only conceded two goals this season, both penalties?

This is going to be a World Cup of swansongs. Most of the great players that have graced the game over last the15 years this will be their last world cup.
Think we've got two players at the club that can step into their shoes for the next 10 years.
Finally, getting interested in the competition.

Never offside in a million years.
Clearly offside. The attacker's leg is closer to the goalline than the keeper

So all the added time is because they are adding every bit of time wasted which is the right way.

The TV stations aren't happy because they have schedules so wait and see it going back to the usual 4 minutes.

That was a great finish by Timothy Weah's lad last night against Wales. He'll be in the premier league by next season.

Martinez should have saved that , went with his wrong hand.

Turner seemed to punch the ball a lot, I know he's new but he really doesn't inspire me with confidence as Arsenal's No 2. :|

Ramsdale would have saved it and started a counter attack leading to a goal :barscarf:

Australia should jet home tonight in shame, they’ve let Giroud score against them.

Probably the only striker to win a world cup without registering a shot on target

International football is so boring.
The quality on display is shocking.
So insipid and such a lack of cohesion between the players

FFS obg!!!
Get fucking over it, Maradonna (greatest footballer ever imo) tore Ingerland a new one that night!
You sound like an Oireland fan still moaning about TH14 handball in the play off, and I've actually come to blows with a pool filth fan, who declared TH14 as the biggest cheat ever to play in the plge, because of that handball!
You need to build a bridge and walk over it!!
Maradonna was arguably the greatest player ever!
