That was the plan from the very beginning.... I mean you can understand the refs doing as they're told... They don't want to be Flogged in public then Beheaded.

England haven't had a proper captain since Tony Adams and before him, Bryan Robson.

And to think that Prince Harry started the week as the boyhood Arsenal supporting Harry who had let his country down.

Yes. They could both have swapped jobs for six months and nobody would have known the difference. Both nailed on to be a scum managerial target by next summer. And then sacked by next winter.

'Evening all' - long time no chat. About the England exit, I was not happy, but always smile when the Scum lad misses from the spot. Even if he is England's captain, I just think hes taking one against us !. Not good news about Jesus but here's hoping Saka's OK. Looking forward to our games starting again.

Re: SLAVERY WORLD CUP 2022
The England squad reminds me of the current Arsenal team. Talented young players only going to get better.
Kane will get a lot of stick, my first thought for the 2nd penalty was to give it to someone else, Saka would've been my choice. Apart from that couldn't really say anything about the England performance at this World Cup. France didn't outplay England they took their chances, England didn't. The french winner came from a 35year old so can't keep going on about youth, you need experience to win these tournaments. If England won 2-1 last night no one would've said they were lucky.
Can't help but think if Kane was at a club that won trophies he'd have made a better decision for that second penalty.
Right, can we get on with some proper football now please.

Re: SLAVERY WORLD CUP 2022
Chances of Michael Oliver being the World Cup Final referee dramatically improved overnight. Given that he has been the best ref of the ones in the QF I think he'll get the final.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 9:15 pmcameron326 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 8:48 pmFrance Vs Argentina final with a bent ref winning it for Messi and co. Re: SLAVERY WORLD CUP 2022
No surprise that all the teams that banged on about human rights, and one love armbands are out of the competition. Lloris said it straight from the start about respecting the country's rules. England were there to win a competition, not make political statements.
Imagine if England made the final, all talk would've been about wearing the "one love" armband.
