Good idea to incorporate the penalties in these games as they said, you can't replicate the pressure in training so it gives some of the youngsters good experience.
Well done to our young keeper.

Re: other matches this weekend
So, Arsenal pick up another friendly trophy, this time the Dubai Cup. I know it doesn't mean much proceeding and during 1988/89 season we won both the Makita Tournament, Mercantile Credit League Century cup and beat the French national team, with 11 Englishmen on the pitch, after Bould came on for O'Leary. We all know what happened at the end of that season...it may not mean much to us supporters, however, if the team keep picking up trophies, that'll be doing team morale a world of good.

Re: other matches this weekend
ESR or Zinchenko didn’t kick a ball out there which is worrying, was hoping both would get some minutes under their belts.
Zinchenko’s constant injuries are definitely becoming a concern now, it’s one thing after another with him.

Zinchenko supposed to be playing against the shammers murdering cun.,ts on Boxing Day. Don't know if there's any truth to it? But You'd think Arteta would have given him some time in the Dubai games...rodders999 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 14, 2022 8:53 amESR or Zinchenko didn’t kick a ball out there which is worrying, was hoping both would get some minutes under their belts.

And then some

I hope truly hope that it isn't the case, but for a player still so young to keep being sidelined with an injury to the same body part is worrying...
A player with HUGE Potential who is a Gooner through and through
I won't mention the (ex)-Arsenal players name as I don't want to Jinx ESR, but the talent, skills & potential of that ex-player had everyone talking and looking forward to is development into a First Team player, and yes he did play for the first team but kept getting injuries and he ended up having to retire early; having tried other clubs.
It's a MoFo when that happens considering the number of utterly talentless players who go relatively injury free all their careers.
