We Miss Jesus. FACT.
And of course the usual non-mobility of Clive just adds to a very poor performance.

Yeah, title winning sides don't go giving away silly fucking goals and make life hard for themselves.cameron326 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 11, 2023 5:12 pmTo be fair though, when decent top level sides decide to play out the last 10-15 with a ten man defence there’s not much you can do in that timeframe unless you have a Bergkamp/Messi level player to unlock things. Every team struggles and usually fails to break it down. Having a significant aerial threat isn’t a guarantee of a breakthrough either as he’ll still get crowded out in the mass of bodies. The only real solution, especially at home, is to be winning as you go into the last 15. That’s what fucked us up today.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Sat Feb 11, 2023 5:05 pmCity will be all over us on Wednesday. This lot have run out of steam and momentum. Needed world class signings in January, didn't get them. Just like those years when we should have won the league in 2008 and 2010. Draws when we should have won, dropping points needlessly from February onwards, no threat up front and a hundred passes on the edge of the box. We've seen it before.

We were dreadful. Saliba was bullied from the first minute. Abysmal free kick to give away for their goal.
It’s over lads. I said it during Everton. We’ve gone. There’s nothing left there. Watch us free fall. Gives me no joy but it will happen.
Hanging on for 4th mark my words.

Would be unfair to write us off when 6 points clear, but we do look tired, predictable, lacking experience and lacking quality on the bench!
That said, wed night under the lights, crowd up for it? could still put us in total control, if we can turn them over and I still think we can, but Villa away after that???
It's could be a nerve jangling, knicker shitting few months

Hard to take many positives from it really. It’s a point and we’re still ahead of City for now. We need to start scoring some fucking goals.

If we win on Wednesday, it's well and truly in our hands. If we draw on Wednesday, we can't afford any silly mistakes between now and the end of the season and if we lose, we'll need to win up there to have any chance

They won about 5 headers in our box, more desire, more determination.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Feb 11, 2023 5:18 pmTheir goal reminded me of the 2nd Manure Goal ! INEPT DEFENDING AND TOTALLY UN-NECESSARY

The draw in itself against decentish opposition is less disappointing than the fact that we couldn’t react more emphatically after the terrible Everton game. We needed to smash this lot today to mark that as a blip and reassert ourselves as the most dangerous attacking team in the league. We look like top four contenders after that, nothing more. City will massively fancy their chances.

As bad as we were there is now a real issue with time wasting in our games. Once they scored I would say there was 5 minutes of football played in the remaining 20 minutes. Toney went down three times with non injuries and was allowed. Ben Mee did the same and there were others. Raya took 10 minutes out of the game on his own by fucking around over goalkicks and any free kick in their half. The referee just watched on and allowed it. There was also the obligatory contrived handbags at the end when someone went through Zinchenko. That was another few minutes which ate the clock away. The ref just added 5 minutes and let it go on. It’s becoming a joke and is clearly coached. It’s an art form. We need the World Cup timekeeping back because it’s destroying the game.
