I would have preferred to see Tierney at LB and Zinny in midfield, at least he has a bit of pace. Good move playing Tomi, he had to come in, Benny has been very in poor last 2 games particularly. I don't like it having 2 donkeys in the middle, I can see Arteta having to change that quite quickly.

I reckon Pep is going to play Rodri at CB and Ake at LB. In the cup game Ake had Saka in his pocket so I think he'll pay there again.

Would have played Jorginho behind Zinchenko and played on the break. Mix it up. Put Tierney left back. Taken Xhaka out. Fat chance of that happening though so we are where we are.

Fully expect an electric atmosphere this evening, we need to keep them on the back foot to negate the loss of Partey.

It's funny reading all these comments this evening because when we signed jorginho many of us had a mickey fit but were told to calm down by a lot of fans on here and that he is a good signing - fast forward two weeks and it is panic stations on here and nobody (and I mean not one single person) is expressing any confidence about jorginho starting

Bad news that Partey is out but Jorginho is much better than Sambi so hopefully will go ok there.

Zinchenko will have to pay attention to his defensive duties. I'd have had Tierney in there and Zinchenko in for Xhaka.

I'm not trying to be smart arse here Rodders, but what you are talking about is an ideal world when you can pick the games that you are missing your important players, and that is not real life. Some tried to put a positive slant on the jorginho signing by trying to suggest that he is an upgrade on the swiss turd, but to me that is deflecting cos we were all crying out for cover for Partey because he is injury prone, and now we are in this shit cos we settled on a 32 year old past his best. I hope Jorginho has the game of his life tonight and makes me and a lot of Gooners eat their words, but a midfield of him and swiss c.unt is stuff of nightmares
