ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Absolute insanity. Arsenal have now become a care in the community club for washed up players, who very likely wont play again.

Thing is Before we Signed Jorginho - He was definitely the better option to Lokonga when Partey was injured; not within a country mile of Partey, but a useful player should the injuries get bad....

More evidence that Arteta is a Wenger disciple, because it was the Old Fraud that introduced the social welfare system at the club. Had to make sure that Daddy took care of his multi millionaire boys....had to buy their loyalty somehow.

I keep saying it, but it often seems like the slippery old fucker is advising Arteta.

Elneny is bog average at best. He creates little and is average to reasonable in possession at best. He is an ok squad player but not worth a top salary - thats crazy.

But I'd still start Elneny every single game ahead of Lobotomy Clive. They are about the same technical level as footballers, but Elneny is nowhere near as stupid or dangerous to us as Lobotomy Clive is.

Neither should be more than squad players, but the worst of the two is the first name on the team sheet every single game and that is truly fucking mental.

I agree in principle Augie,

He hardly played this season, is out injured till the end of his contract, that should be it.

We have Jorginho and MUST, surely, sign a top notch CM for next season, be it Rice, Caicedo or whoever.
I know by comparison he is on a relative poor wage but £50,000 a week to someone to be a bench sitter, if he is lucky, might not make the squad at all is ludicrous.

Nice guy, sorry about your injury, thanks for your service, good bye 👋

I see Mudryk isn't happy at Chelsea.

Can't really feel any sympathy for him.
