As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
When I try to go in the queue I get a message saying they suspect I’m a bot and then I’m kicked out which is ironic seeing as there’s already 500 thousand bots on there buying up tickets while actual human being Rodders is told go fuck himself.
It’s been a complete shambles this season, needs a major overhaul in the summer because it’s not fit for purpose.

They now have one of those things that pops up asking the person / user/buyer to put in a Code (that they give) then once that's accepted they ask for your Arsenal membership number put that in and you join the queue. Of course the "queue" is a zillion miles / minutes long ...
Still there are some ST Holders on here who like to rub our noses in it with their Idiotic comments and Retarded Arrogance.
I'm surprised they can shoulder such a pathetic attitude.
When I was a kid my Dad used to have to queue up for tickets. There were touts even then who would queue jump but it was a minority. There was no membership other than season tickets. The only loyalty scheme was collecting tokens out of programmes for a cup final ticket. Arsenal have commercialised our support and unless you are a season ticket holder you are out in the cold and behind those who are willing to jump the proverbial queue by paying over the odds. It’s fucking wrong. It’s fraud by deception to sell a membership which promises an opportunity to buy tickets.
What I don’t get is how easy it would be stop this online touting. A simple captcha would stop bots. Arsenal could work with trading standards to stop the online ticket shops. It would be very easy to do. The Club just don’t want to.
If I was living in Islington I would get the local MP involved (Corbyn). The AST need to come down hard on this too. It’s a joke.
The club have confirmed the empty seats Vs Leeds were all bought at the same time by someone with red memberships using a bot....
Where did they confirm this?
There was a meeting last night, turns out there was over 750,000 log ins attempted on the site, thousands per minute when the Wolves tickets went on sale - all bots, what a shit show.
And you can be fairly sure that the 62 empty seats that went unsold for the Leeds game weren't the only tickets that particular "member" ended up getting.
There probably needs to be a tighter procedure in place to become a red member.
I am sure there must also be a way of stopping the online tours and those outside of the ground - everyone should just enter with their membership card OR if it doesn’t work for any reason get a printed and dated piece of paper from the box office.
As it currently stands - if you can afford it then the Wolves game is open to anyone.
Why does the system allow someone to buy 60 tickets at a time? In the past I might have bought half a dozen away tickets at the same time so we can all sit together. What fucking idiot has set the system up so it can be so blatantly abused in that way???? Limit it immediately to 4. Those wanting more than that have to ring up the club. Just create a work around to nip this in the bud until a new system is in place. Total amateurs.

The fact that you can buy tickets for other members in your network is now being exploited massively, as was shown up so blatantly in the Leeds game. It was the fact they went unsold that shamed the club into action, if there were bums on those seats they wouldn't give half as much of a fuck.
Basically one "person" assigned to at least another 62 memberships (you'd have to imagine it's even more but most likely those tickets were sold so we'll never know for sure) managed to buy 62 tickets next to each other all in the space of a few seconds.
A Gooner friend who lives in Germany - He's English lecturing / teaching over there... Was offered 2 tickets for the Wolves game last night equivalent of £500 per ticket.
He tried phoning the clubs ticket office - eventually gave up after 20 minutes in a queue.
He has e-mailed them with the details and his contact details... is waiting to hear back.
This network thing was originally set up for things like away tickets. But as has been pointed out is now being massively abused by touts. Over the years I have had random “friend requests” to add in to someone’s network. I even discovered one season that I had been added in to other networks by a friend of a friend. Since that point I deleted every connection and that is how it has stayed. The Club needs to get a total grip of this.
