What a shit start that was, conceding just seconds into the game and setting the tone. Banter FC. Then, naturally, Walcott of all people makes it two for Southampton. Luckily, Martinelli pulls one back for us midway through the first half. We were unlucky not to equalize in that ludicrous amount of stoppage time, with our chance headed of the line.

Conceding the third goal mid-way through the second half was devastating. Fucking Arteta holding to the awful tradition of not making changes before the 70th minute. We kept ballsing up the few chances we had. Ødegaard scored a sweet consolation goal late in the game. Then Saka made it 3-3, making stoppage time a nail-biter. Too little, too late.

The usual stream site I use wasn't displaying any streams for tonight. The other site I found tonight kept cutting out. Finally got a better one, then they switched to Sky with that fucking Karen Carney's unbearable voice, so I had to keep the volume down.

Dropped points to the bottom side. It's so deeply disappointing.

Stupid by Partey at the end. And Jesus just isn’t on it. He keeps going down but you don’t need to see a replay - you can just tell he’s gone down too easily - he hardly even protests just a hopeful glance at the referee every fucking time.

Bayern are one of the best teams in Europe and they should have conceded 7 at the ethiad a few weeks back. The way we are defending we easily could.

Too many players have left us down badly when it mattered most.
