Ask some of the chumps that post on here. Happy to follow Twitter rumours but can’t work through the logic that those rumours come from people who work at the club.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Seems like we were well ahead of the curve in January when we bid for Caicedo, now he's become the number one target for half the league in the summer.
Such a shame we didn't get that one over the line, how many more points would be have now with him playing in midfield instead of the massive turds currently occupying that role

Chelsea. That’s all you have to blame. Inflated the market. It’s fucked now.rodders999 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 8:43 amSeems like we were well ahead of the curve in January when we bid for Caicedo, now he's become the number one target for half the league in the summer.

Time to dig out the Nearly Signed XI from the senile old c.unt's days. We needed someone to replace Yaya Toure in that role anywayrodders999 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 8:43 amSeems like we were well ahead of the curve in January when we bid for Caicedo, now he's become the number one target for half the league in the summer.

Yep the chavs have absolutely destroyed the market and united spunking £90m up the wall on Antony was the cherry on top.BobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 8:50 amChelsea. I see She Wore running an article saying we are going to need to replace Partey. I wonder who his sources are at the Club.

It's been fcuked for years, but ironically I reckon the chavs will have a negative impact on the transfer market this summer - they will have to offload so many players in the summer for pennies on the pound, and that should have a knock on effect on the prices for a lot of players from other clubs

Fuck me, what wonderful days they were. Wasn't it Gervinho from Lille instead of Eden Hazard?

It's easy to forget some of the absolute dross we signed in the Old Fraud's last 12 years, but I reckon that a comprehensive list of the names would leave you as a quivering wreck.
We all knew that it would take years to recover from old wanker's decade plus of damage, but I was hoping that this season might have seen us finally emerging. Given the last 3 weeks, I'm having my doubts.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Drogba and Zlatan up front with Ronaldo playing just off them....Yaya Toure running the midfield. That was the best Nearly Signed team in our history. Luckily we managed to get Chamakh and Park instead, with Denilson and Walcott insteadRetro Gunner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 12:15 pmrodders999 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 9:07 amThe summers of Suarez and Higuain that ended with Sanogo and Park, those were the days my friendSteveO 35 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 8:50 amTime to dig out the Nearly Signed XI from the senile old c.unt's days. Ah yes, but we couldn’t sign a decent centre mid, because we couldn’t “kill” Denilson.
Am I imagining things, or did we sign Benzema on a few occasions?
Oh and when is Mexes joining...must be sometime soon, surely. He can come to us with Rabiot.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Somewhere in a distant universe is another version of Earth. In that version of Earth is another Arsenal FC where we signed all of these players and won the Champions League. I have it on authority that Wenger is still managing them and we have won the League 20 years in a row.

Benzema, Loic Remy and Yann m'Vila still undergoing their medicals mateRetro Gunner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 2:20 pmSteveO 35 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 12:36 pmDrogba and Zlatan up front with Ronaldo playing just off them....Yaya Toure running the midfield.
