Citeh A Weds 26th Apr KO 8pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

My sister who lives in Scotland (near me obviously) has had her little girls footballs team offered tickets to City Leeds and they can’t even sell them and are now raffling them off!

HAHAHA pathetic little small team with oil money. Nothing club.

That really is too pathetic for words
A team with unlimited resources, winning games for fun with one of the world's great strikers and a collection of other stars. Oh and the manager isn't bad either?

Can you imagine our ticket situation if we were in the same boat? You can't get a ticket for love nor money now and that's just challenging for a title

To be honest City always had a good, honest, decent support. Had some great trips there in the past, mostly when they were shit and their old school fans were good lads. Can only assume its another club where the plastics have taken over and have got bored winning already

No idea how it will go, we could eqsily lose by 3 or 4 if we don't turn up/crumble. If we cazn keep them out for the first 45 then anything can happen. Simple fact is, if we play as well as we can then we can beat them........but we haven't done that for a while!!! :rubchin:

The fear as ever is the freak up front. When we played them at home Gabriel was a shoelace away from being sent off and him playing off the shoulder of our two CBs could be devastating. The hope is that with them at home there is more of a coming on to us approach and he spends more time back to goal. When that happens I've seen him get wound up and put off his game - lets hope !

You do wonder what effect the City dominance is eventually going to have though.

Let’s face it without this Arsenal “challenge” the title race would have been over in February.
Are clubs going to increasingly wave the white flag, because it does feel a bit pointless sometimes trying to compete with them.

Their end was half empty at Wembley Saturday FFS, a club who claims their massive revenue is due to their massive worldwide fan base :coffeespit:

Sorry SteveO I should reiterate … it’s the full Bo’ness football teams from under 6s to juniors, FYI Bo’ness is a very small town :D

Pressure off in a way

Nobody expects us to win the title now so I hope the players summon the spirit of 89!

Good luck boys ! :barscarf:

We’ve already blown it against West Ham and Southampton. Total waste of a season.
You're right in us blowing it against West Ham & the Saints but I don't think the season has been a total waste. We've done far better than anyone expected and played some fantastic football.
The downside is after leading the pack for so long it now looks like we'll finish runners up. This is what's bugging everyone.
We were on target for relegation at start of last season and blew CL football. This season we've secured CL football with 6 left to play. Definite progress and if we don't do it this year, we'll be even better next year.
No........but I guarantee you one thing. Everybody else around us will be better next year. If we don't win the title this year, we won't even be challenging next year. That might sound negative, but it's the reality of the situation.
