Forest H Sat 12th Aug KO 1230

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

“Timber grabbed at the back/outside of his knee/calf. Didn’t see much in terms of a twist so my guess would be muscular or a dead leg from the first half knock. Neither Jurrien or the lead physio looked too pressed as they were coming off but let’s see.” - Dr Rajpal Brar (@3cbPerformance)

I’d take Dr Nick, rather than the witch doctor we currently have.

I've just finished reading Paul Davis's autobiography and he raves about Steve Cooper. I'm not entirely sure that he's got the right Steve Cooper.

That injury has sucked it from the team and supporters this half tbh. So unnecessary

Which one? Cruciate or collateral
Could be posterior cruciate maybe? Hope not
Was it a twisting injury? That's most common method of cruciate injury. Collateral more likely to be side impact

It looks like Havertz is hiding from the ball. Every time he could move into space he instead moves behind a defender.
Oh is Havertz playing?
Hadn’t noticed - he is the new Xhaka

Happy for Eddie to get his goal. It will give him confidence and he can be a very neat 2nd striker for us as well as leading cup competitions.

Incredible that Forrest still haven’t a shirt sponsor for the second seasons in a row. Unheard of.

Think he was Tommy Cooper he meant - just like that
