Kieran Tierney has officially joined Real Sociedad on a season-long loan.

I still thought he’d land a better deal than that at the last minute but not to be.

Best of luck to him, I’ll have to watch a few of their games to see how he’s doing.

I didn't, to be honest. He is completely injury prone. A shame but that's the truth of it. :(

Fair point, but with the league absolutely awash with money and plenty of other transfers not making a whole pile of sense I still thought someone would come in for him.

I'm very sad to see KT go.
I think it's a HUGE mistake.

I'm glad the lad will get CL football and some sunshine.

Best of luck to Tierney. I hope he does well and enjoys his football over the there. Talk of Real Sociedad reminds me of Kevin Richardson heading off there all those years ago. Seems almost certain he'll be sold next summer and shades of Mathieu Debuchy in that there was a player in there but injuries just happened. Can't help thinking that we never really got to see the best of him.

Shame to see KT go, whenever he played he poured his all for the team. Unfortunate that he cannot stay fit to save his life. Any minor knock in the game turns into a 2-3 month long injury.

I remember one game (which summed up for me how fragile he is) which was West Ham away in the 19/20 season. Completely harmless 50/50 jump for the ball when Fabianski kicked the ball out, KT landed and like that dislocated his shoulder. Freak accident, I know but it was a 50/50 jump you will see 500 times per weekend but his one had to be bad. Summed up his luck.

Hope he shines there!

Blimey, there’s a name I’d forgotten. Looked like the real deal, then, from memory, it was a kind of Timber situation. Early days with us and a major injury that kept him out for months on end.

Wasn't Debuchy another one of the famous Stoke City victims ? Shoved into the crowd at the clock end I think and done his shoulder.

Ye Marko Arnautovic, he pushed him over the advertising hoardings for a ball tht had already gone out of play

Rob Holding, still expected to leave Arsenal in the final days of the transfer window. There are discussions now ongoing to make it happen 🔴⚪️ #AFC

Understand there are also Spanish clubs asking for conditions of Holding deal.

I think other PL managers are of the same opinion as we are in that Tierney is great when he's fit but as that's so seldom they're not interested in bidding for him.
It's such a shame as he's a great lad. I wish him the best of luck and hope he can stay fit and enjoy his playing time.
