Chavs FB A Saturday 21st October KO 1730

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A lad I used to like the viewpoints and banter of was our Mackem pal Safcftm :barscarf: not seen him around here in a while either.

Blimey Falky, that's going back a bit. You're right, he was a good contributor and it was interesting to get the view of a fan from a different club.

To be honest Mc, I liked them all and was sorry to see them "terminated".
Ye ,i had my run ins with babatunde but loved some of the insults/put downs he came out with

It all added a bit of colour and fun to the place. It's probably why I enjoy this place the most when things are going wrong on the pitch and the forum lights up in fury and the gallows humour starts to roll.

It kept me going through the dark and interminable years of Wenger, when the joy had gone out of the game for Gooners and when I doubted that I could ever feel the old passion again. To be honest, even though last season saw a reignition, it isn't yet like the feeling of old.
The banter was all that kept me going through the darker days :barscarf: It felt like le fartpipe would never fcuk off  but he did :barscarf: Loved Babatunde  one of my favourite insults of his was Spunk bubble :D

Haven't heard that it years!!

Also a good one is "Wa.nk Spangle" I think it was someone on here who coined that little beauty ? :rubchin:
I’m afraid wankspangle was one of mine……

We have had some decent wins over that lot at the bridge but went through a spell of hardly putting up a fight

https://www.arsenal.com/news/vault-five ... E0_sISQ3uA

Some happy memories above

A hat trick akin to RVP’s or Kaanuuuuu will do nicely thanks 🙏

Or a belter a la Winterburn if it means a win and 3 points

I remember going there and they had disabled cars around the edge of the track !
Metal detectors to walk through as an away fan and Ken Bates caging his own fans in with barbed wire

Shame they never went out of business for good

I'm gonna break my number one mod rule here this once. I never tell the forum when someone complains to me about other members. Never. It has to be that way so lads can feel if they have a gripe they can come to me on the QT and I'll try sort it.

Babatunde for example was banned for many reasons, mostly trolling and continuous WUMing. What none of you know though was that he was also constantly wasting my time putting in reports on several of you. Basically if you disagreed with him or took the piss he'd report you to me and ask for a banning. He even dropped the race card though no one had any idea what race the fucking moron was.

Think about all that lads, the next time you "miss" some prick that got banned for making the forum the toxic shit poisonous place it became around that time.

I'm fucking shocked that grown men on here run to you telling tales tbh. If you can't put up with a handbags style spat on here, then best to look at knitting pattern websites instead.

If it gets out of hand and abusive, then the mods (you  ), always step in and calm it down. If some prat doesn't take notice then you get out the big banning stick*. Running to teacher to tell tales is fucking poor imo.

* Is that what you still call that disease ridden abomination??

I prefer the term "Banhammer". But only if said in a proper dodgy Ahhhnold Schwarzenegger accent! :D

Love reading this bu!!shit about the chavs hitting form lately - in their last 5 league games they have won just TWO (against burnley and fulham  ) and have lost to forest and villa as well as drawing with bournemouth ffs

They are still an aimless rabble from the top down, and they still are distinctly average in every area of the pitch

El basque is the only concern I have for this game - if he picks the wrong team and/or makes shit changes then we are fcuked, but if we are up for it and have our best 11 on the pitch then we will do them no problems 8)

Really don't enjoy games against this lot, they are my most hated team, yes even more so than spurs, as much as I hate spurs they are such serial failures you can only hate so much because they are a running joke.

The chavs lorded it over us for 15yrs once the blood money poured in, I hope they end up like Leeds eventually as some sort of punishment but doubt it, rich cvnts will always be attracted to them due to their location.

I hope all their 8yr contacts backfire and they are stuck with unmotivated players on big money to drag them down.

Will be a tight game hopefully 1-2 to the Arsenal.

Arsenal XI: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Jorginho, Odegaard, Rice; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli

Aaron Ramsdale not in the Arsenal squad today.

His wife, Georgina, has given birth to a boy.

BBC

Arsenal:

22 Raya
4 White
2 Saliba
6 Gabriel
35 Zinchenko
8 Ødegaard
20 Jorginho
41 Rice
7 Saka
9 Gabriel Jesus
11 Martinelli

Substitutes

5 Partey
10 Smith Rowe
14 Nketiah
15 Kiwior
18 Tomiyasu
19 Trossard
24 Nelson
29 Havertz
31 Hein

Ref: Chris Kavanagh

Other than perhaps Partey for Jorginho that's probably our strongest eleven (allowing of course for Timber's absence)
Also, Havertz on the bench 8)
