It's sabotage mate. As you've rightly highlighted from the Dippers match - it isn't bias against just one team, its deliberately being fucked up. The new thing to sabotage it is to take even longer over the time taken so that everyone can sing "fuck VAR". I actually think this backwards looking game is going to get its wish and do away with it altogether

I’m just numb to what I’ve witnessed
and feel absolutely powerless to fight back against it. From the chat at half time about how it was ok to fore arm someone in the head as long as it wasn’t an elbow. The ball out of play, the 2 handed push in the back and then the offside all ignored.
It feels like a boxer going in against the world champion, beating the shit out of him for 12 rounds and then having the judges fuck him out of the decision.
It’s incredibly worrying that 2 of the biggest injustices we’ve faced this season were the Kovacic incidents against city and the shit show that went down tonight.

It won't get anywhere near the same coverage as the dippers from the other week because the broadcasters will have been told by the Premier League to avoid being critical of it and not to question them. There's a new TV rights contract up for renewal soon and Sky will have been told not to highlight controversial moments if they want to keep their deal. It's that fucking simple. The game is fucking corrupt, the league is corrupt, the Premier League who were once in debt to the broadcasters now call the shots because they have the power these days and can crush any dissent with the threat of taking away their cash cow. It's fucking disgraceful. Absolutely fucking disgusting. Someone somewhere, whether it's an individual, a Sovereign Wealth Fund, a broadcasting magnate or organised crime, is behind these VAR decisions and controversies and we just have to pretend that it's part of the game. I'm pissed off about the VAR balls up, but not half as pissed off as watching Eddie go almost an entire year without an away goal. We called it before the game and sure enough he was shite again. Vieira just a waste of space - I find it hard to even get angry about him anymore because I know he's going to do nothing
I think most of us said before a ball was kicked that if he thinks the injury prone Jesus and Eddie the Feather are what's needed for a 50 game+ PL CL season, then we are fucked. And we are truly fucked. We will lose 4 or 5 away games this season unless he signs Toney or another physical CF. End of
