That’s something that’s been said on here countless times by myself and others (steveo for sure) - you watch a game in Germany, Spain or Italy and you just never the sort of mental shit that plagues this league every other week.

Dont let VAR take away from the fact were were poor.Lightweight in midfield except for Rice and toothless in attack. And the blame for that falls at the feet of Arteta. I agree that we are light in attack and have mentioned that many times on here.

I have repeatedly said on this forum that no other league uses the same refs as the VAR team. It is a specialised role for one. Secondly two separate teams prevent bias, influence, corruption, call it what you will. We have refs afraid to call out their mates. And we have senior refs refusing to be shown up by junior refs. It is a total clusterfuck. The other thing we have is limitations of VAR i.E lack of cameras at certain grounds. Totally fucking unacceptable.

Firstly, I thought we were excellent defensively. Before the game I said Rice would have to earn his wages because he had the equivalent of Alex Mong and Denilson alongside him..... He was superb. But as expected, he had little to no help. Eddie is Eddie.... The world and his dog knows he's not good enough but Arteta won't buy a striker. Saka is a fucking disgrace, his performances are total shit, he's not interested, there's a big problem there. Havertz is like a male ballerina in an MMA fight, prancing around, avoiding anything that might need some skill and conviction.

I love Arteta's reaction afterwards, about time someone had the balls to say it how it is,..........but..........Mikel, you know what's really embarrassing? Picking Havertz game after game. Playing Raya all the time when he makes an error every game (at least), and not signing a proper striker for a team that is very close to being a really good team.

Rice, Saliba and Gabriel were immense in tonights game, if (IF) we had a proper striker we would have won it, that is if VAR had permitted us to seeing as they PGMOL and their nice little earner, aka: VAR are as Corrupt as the Mexican Traffic Police.

From what I've just read, they didn't have enough angles to rule on any of the checks. How is that even fucking possible? It isn't. They have cameras on both sides of the goal to check for the ball being over the line and had extra VAR cameras put in last summer. How is there not a single angle which can show that the ball was over the line or that their player was offside? It's beyond corruption now. All that will happen is someone will find the camera angle by tomorrow and it will again be exposed as the incompetent cheating it really is.

There are no consequences for VAR errors. That's the problem.

An apology, one or more officials given a weekend off and are back the following week.

This is a multi billion pound business. Joe Public spend thousands of pounds each every season following it. TV companies pay billions to show it, clubs pay staff hundreds of millions to play it.......

Yet when VAR fucks up week after week, there may be an apology or a weekend off for someone... How is that acceptable? Why are things not being changed? If it's not accurate enough then stop using it.

I said when VAR first came in, all they've done is move the final decision from one man in the middle of the pitch, to one man in an office, how is that progress? It still boils down to one man's interpretation of an action. It's a farce.

From The Telegraph football pages: On the Gordon goal, apparently Stockley Park have confirmed that Joelinton touched the ball (replays confirm as much) but that there wasn’t a satisfactory angle to show whether Gordon was offside.

Gordon was behind Raya by the time he scored, but when the ball touched Joelinton it wasn’t clear who was closest to the goal.

Presumably, this image of him playing the ball wasn't deemed useful. Or any of the ones from the other angles which always exist.



So, in essence, they've confirmed that the player was offside and they know it but they couldn't find an angle despite the fact that it must exist. They also claim they couldn't find an angle to show that the ball was out of play, again, despite there being plenty to show it out of play. It's beyond a joke. You can't claim that you can't find an angle for one reason but then have an angle for the ball being out and say that you want another. It's just way beyond cheating and corruption now. They don't give a fuck about even pretending now. They just basically admit that they know they shouldn't have allowed things to happen but did it anyway. It's like organised crime gangs openly bragging about their drug smuggling and murders. They know they can't be caught.

Look the reason tonight was corrupt was because exactly the same happened in the Spurs v Liverpool match.

The referee DID NOT go and check the monitors.
