FROM GLAM TO THE JAM BOOK

Post by Step »

Just wondered whether anyone knows how I can get my book reviewed by The Gooner?
Just published by Olddogbooks.net this heavily Goonified book covers the period 1970- 1983 and my trials and tribulations growing up in Suffolk with all that that entails! (Classic home 1983 shirt on the front cover).
Centers largely on the sport, media, footy and music and aimed at those aged 45+ who have fond memories of these times.
Graham Rix, David Coleman, Tony Adams, Punk, Mod Revival, Ron Pickering. The Flashing Blade, football stanchions etc all get coverage and memories of those Gooner games and gigs attended ( and those missed)!
A contact for The Gooner would be really appreciated.
Cheers

As a matter of interest whereabouts in Suffolk did you grow up mate ?

I regularly work in Ipswich and I often see Arsenal shirts on display if the weather is good.

Large ex London contingent now in Suffolk

Hi Step, I'd advise pm'ing Rob Admin initially. He knows the owners and might be able to set something up.

Go to "quick links", then "the team" and he's listed there.
