As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Only seen the brief highlights as was determined not to let it ruin my weekend away. Reading the comments it would appear no great excitement but "job done" which at this stage of the season is what's needed. Looking at Wolves starting XI it looks mostly like their squad players so probably very much the right oppo at the right time
Those Chav bastards have gone back to being shite again and judging by social media this morning are in bits again and tearing themselves apart. The only chance we have is being 4 points above City when they go to Brighton. Part one done
I thought it would be rinse and repeat after the first half but credit to the team for putting in a very good 2nd half performance. Wolves were being allowed by the useless Ref to try and intimidate us and we stood up to them. The only frustration of the match was the amount of play-acting going on by both sides. It could be a tactic by us because of the amount of times Teams set out to kick us off the park particularly Saka but all it does is slow our game down.

Saka holds onto the ball far too long when he picks it up with his back to goal inviting challenges - I know he does it to roll his man and go inside, but there are many times he could lay it off and outrun his close marker to go into the space that has been created but he doesn’t he just holds it, holds it, while they nibble at him, foul him time and time again.
Other than their shot that Raya deflected on to the post ( probably his best save for us so far ) they didn’t create much at all
Rice again. Man of the match, love seeing him drive forward with the ball in possession as he looks so comfortable with it.
No game time for apparent “favourites” like Zinchencko and Vieira
Hmmm, I've always fancied Anne, since The Devil Wears Prada days and now I'm even more attracted.
I'll have to invite her to a home game with me...a proper Saturday 3 o'clock kick-off. Some pie mash at about 12;30, then over to Highbury, a couple of pints in either the Bank of Friendship, or the Highbury Barn, or the Alwyne Castle for old times sake, watch us wipe the floor with the scum, then back to hers for dinner and....well, you know the rest.
