other matches this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bayern have absolutely fucked this at the death.
Has Kane insulted the spirits or something? Bloke’s cursed.

Bloke has played in SIXTEEN cup semi finals in his career and has scored ONE GOAL from open play in those games - top striker my arsehole

Just been hearing about the new EFL TV deal which sounds crazy - 1000 live matches across the season, meaning less and less 3pm games even in the lower leagues.

The thing is who will be watching?
Other than their own fans who seriously will tune into watch for example Rochdale v Bromley in league 2 (5.30pm kick off)

The only trophy he'll lift this year is for top goalscorer.

Have you seen the Bundesliga top scorer trophy

Exactamondo !

Also the lower league clubs. are 'desperate' to keep and increase their attendances, so if a game should be planned to be shown and the away fans have a distance to travel, they might think Aah! Fuck It, I'll watch it on the box. :?

i think this TV deal will see the beginning of the end of the 3pm blackout for matches.
wouldn't be surprised if we will be seeing live PL matches at 3pm within a few years.

It’s the Mayo curse. Kane’s father is from Mayo.

Sure it will mostly be the club’s own fans, but I rarely watch televised games not involving Arsenal. I will watch all the Orient TV games. It won’t have much impact on kick off times as each club gets about 20 televised games which include midweeks, first and last games, 3pm games on FA Cup 3rd/4th round and international breaks. Orient had about 20 games that met that criteria last season. Most handy will be the awkward midweek away trips north of Birmingham. Orient will only have one away game in London, so it would be good to have about a dozen long away trips covered on TV. Will go to the Orient home games as my Arsenal membership is cancelled after getting knocked back on a dozen ballot applications this season and I suspect my season ticket holder buddies will be attending more frequently. Everton could be my last game at Arsenal Stadium for a long time…

Caoimhín Kelleher could show him his medal collection. European Cup, FA Cup, League Cup and Super Cup. Would be in good company with the others as I don’t believe any of them have won anything. Must all be from Mayo.
