Euro 2024

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There were questions about the ref before the game and there should be more after, he’s practically been the 12th man with the decisions
Do you want a lemonade top with that bitter :barscarf:

Great finish by Watkins, but they were only up there after buying the softest of free kicks, between that and the penalty the ref looks like he’s set for life
Cry me a river
I will on Sunday

Well done England !!

Ollie Watkins, what a great goal. Saka's was better but never mind about that.

Just to get to the final (for the second time in a row) is a brilliant achievement.

Shame that Kane is the captain and therefore undroppable because he was a like a fucking monolith last night. I've seen more movement in the Brandenburg Gate. What's his job if he can't/won't run channels and isn't in the box? Just before half time he's out on the right wing and a cross comes into the tower of power that is....5' 6" Foden.

With one of the most mobile and talented attacks in the competition, it's a shame that the starting lineup isn't Foden - Watkins - Saka with Bellingham and Palmer sat behind.

^^^1,000%^^^

He really is immobile. I remember when Olivier Giroud was called the Lamppost, but he still has ten times the mobility & pace of the fat tongued dribbling, crayon munchingCUNT.

Cheers DB, tbf I've watched very little of the football, it's cricket season for me and I play twice sometimes three times a week,.

I watched most of last night but not all of it, as you know I have a lot on my plate at the moment and watching football internationals is not on my list of priorities.

I do hope we win it though, a lot of that has to do with Rice, Saka and even Ramsdale, it would be great for those guys.

I will be in Benidorm with my girlfriend (who is supporting England now Turkey are out ) when it's on so should be good atmosphere, it won't ruin my holiday if we don't win it

I would like to see Rice smash up Rodri though and Saka roast cuckoorella all night too  :barscarf:

Cucurella is so timid. He gets the ball and has acres to drive into and just lays it off and back pedals to the back 4.

Jordi Alba he ain't.

As soon as Watkins comes on he runs a channel, Palmer through ball, goal. Fucking read the script and replicate it.

Agreed but he's a sly dirty fucker who seems to get away with a lot of blatant fouls, he will try and get something on Saka for sure but I reckon Saka will expose his lack of positional awareness.
